I had to make an account just to reply on how dumb this view is. Rent averages out at 1.5-2k a month this is not including utilities and essential living expenses. In rent alone you clear out your yearly income. You also have to include taxes that are removed out of every paycheck. They may be making 25k a year but in reality they only see 20-21k. There is a reason why people are living 10 to a 2 bedroom apartment or garages that have 5 people living in it.
