This is no bug, the mage took on the slyvin elixr appearance from legion used the Narcissa's Mirror on his toxic wasteling also gave it the pet biscuit to make it bigger, and then just did the dungeon normally. TLDR its just a transform, and its nothing to do with the hunter

I have just been on the beta myself after hearing about this post and thought wth I will give it ago see how much XP you are getting and such from places. It took me about 1 hour ish (I had down time in between at some point and didnt keep track) I slapped on my heirlooms (which dont give xp anymore but give a nice little bonus) I have now finished the "DK Campaign" and currently sat in Org after handing in the Quest and got level 20 from it. http://prntscr.com/uhw61h
