  1. Thanks! I've finally reached iLvl 825 to do LFR and decided to record the logs on WarcraftLogs. I understood that my DPS should be somewhere near 250k Single Target, yet I seem to struggle to go any higher than 150-160, sometimes lower if there's a lot of switching targets or really crappy RNG. If someone would be kind enough to take a look at it and tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd be grateful. Please bear with me if you see blatant really noobish mistakes... I'm all ears to learn. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/Yj4tBMPJN3yh2c68/ I recorded only two fights of Emeral
  2. Ok, I switched to Arms but my DPS is still shit. I don't know how big a difference it makes, but I only have 1 relic so far and the artifact power only goes to Exploit The Weakness so far. Also, my gear is only iLvl 780. Anyway, I think one of my key problems is the way I use FR. I think at the moment I'm prioritizing Slam too much over it. So I re-read the part about FR from the guide and I think I get it now: outside BC, you use FR and once you reach 3 stacks and neither MS or CS are ready, you use Slam. If CS is ready (either because it cooled down or because you get a Tactician p
  3. Hey all, I'm normally a Fury Warrior but decided to give Arms a try since I heard it's better in raids. I read the guide but have a couple of specific questions: - It says to use Colossus Smash (Ill go ahead and call is CS from now on) first and then use Warbreaker if CS isn't active. Does that mean I should open by first applying Warbreaker and then CS, or do I immediately go for CS and only use Warbreaker later in the fight if CS happens to not be active? - Unless the target still has CS applied, CS is to be kept on cooldown without hesitation right? Or should it only be
  4. Yeh I found them. I hadn't done the scenario first. Anyways, for my rotation, I set up my WeakAUras as follows (when something has just "whenever available" it pretty much means it's on cooldown all the time) Bloodthirst Whenever available AND Not Enraged Raging Blow (Inner Rage talented) Whenever available Furious Slash Whenever available AND Bloodthirst unavailable AND Raging Blow unavailable Rampage Whenever available AND Not Enraged Second, separate Rampage aura Whenever available AND Ragecapped Avatar Whenever available Battle Cr
  5. Ok thanks guys. I'll check out the rotation helper and maybe post what rotation I currently use. I got a question about the Legion Invasion Events though. I fought one yesterday entirely by accident... I have no idea when they occur. Is it entirely random?
  6. Hello everyone, I'm not going to ask you to "fix my DPS" but I basically skipped WoD entirely. Well I did play it, but never raided or anything. It was purely casual and played as Shammy. Now that I have a new, fairly serious guild, I'd like to pick up good old Fury Warrior again and be a good DPS. I had forgotten how hilarious it was beating monsters, demons, zombies and giant spiders into pulp with two big 2-handed weapons. I just got my character boost to 100 for this toon and I suppose I received some standard gear with it. Except for a belt and legs, which I earned today by r
  7. So it appears to be mainly a problem of gear optimisation and gear itself. Thanks. Just a few more specific quesitons about your tips: - If during a CS phase, I have WS and RB available simultaneously, what do I prioritize? - About the HS rage starving during CS: you say "only use it if you have the rage for it"... what amount of rage would be a good indicator to say it's safe to use HS? Right now, I basically spam it as long as I have the rage for it during CS - During Exec phase, I thought I wasn't supposed to use BT at all, only Exec and RB. Aren't Exec and BT on the same cooldown
  8. I'm having some trouble with my DPS too. I'm currently iLvl 490. I'm using the following rotation: Non-CS - BT on cooldown - RB if I have 2 charges of it - WS 3x if I have a Bloodsurge proc - HS if rage goes above 105 - Execute if rage is above 105 and target is -20% CS-burst (only if my rage is above 80) - Spam HS - BT on cooldown - Spam RB if it's available - If RB is not proced, I'll use Berserker Rage to force it - Spam WS if Bloodsurge procs Basically, I mash the buttons of either WS, RB or BT while also mashing HS. When CS is active during Exec phase, I spam
  9. So what about WS during CS bursts? What's it's priority? Let's say you have a RB proc and a WS proc. RB goes first I suppose? And then you spam WS while also spamming HS and keeping BT on cooldown? And what if RB procs during the Execution phase? Do I still spam Execute, or can I use the RB in there too?
  10. I'll post my further questions in your thread then. Better to keep all the knowledge somewhat centralized isnt it? :-)
  11. Thanks! So, when I'm in CS burst mode and I can use RB, BT and HS... which one should I prioritize? Still BL?
  12. I made some logs on Gara'jal (LFR) http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/cn1p3v1vbmda0ofs/ I case I screwed up the link: it was posted on Elune (FR). I'm the only warrior under the name of Snowbat so I'm easy to find. My DPS wasn't really good and perhaps someone can pinpoint the problem? Here's me in the Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/hyjal/Snowbat/simple Hopefully, someone can find the problem.
  13. Thank you very much, my Canadian friend :-) Your advice has been way more helpful than on other forums I've been. I've been practicing in HM Dungeons and on dummies a bit lately in the hopes I can gather a lot of VP and get good loot. This is my character in the armory. When I fight against a dummy for about 5 minutes non-stop, I do approx 29k damage which seems pretty low. This is how my damaging abilities are distributed: Melee: 30.4% HS: 15.5% BT: 12.5% RB: 12.0% Deep Wounds: 8.5% RB Off Hand: 6.7% WS: 6.3% CS: 4.5% And the hit type is like this: Hit: 77.2% Crit: 1
  14. Thanks a lot ragebarr. I appreciate it. So, with your advice, I now do things as follows: While preparing for CS: BT on cooldown, 3 x WS when Bloodsurge procs, RB if I have 2 or more charges on it, HS if rage is greater than 105 (or Execute if -20%) I use CS only if I have 80 rage or more. Once I use CS, if it didn't trigger Enrage, I use Berserker Rage and then I spam RB (when available) and HS till my Rage is depleted. I throw in a BT too if I can during that 1 second HS cooldown. I ususally save Skull Banner for CS bursts too and I try to do the same for Bloodbath. And then of cours
