I'm gem in full mastery, and have around 40% haste, ranking in SoT and have a good few rank 2/3/4/5's in terms of dps on mythic matey. Mastery is a big Attack power increase nowadays don't forget, as well as being a inc damage reduction mechanic! Dks blood boil is broken atm and they are like AoE Kings! But this late into an expansion after all the nerfs get yourself the haste/Armor elixers and use strength food!! Also there is no reason to NOT be taking in SoT In terms of other tanks damage im usually higher then the monk in my guild but yeah we will be lower the Bears and dks most of the

Yeah, there's no real issues with warriors threat atm, however tanking with a dk atm is hard, from what I hear they are basically magnets for threat right now. I've not tried on my pala as I tank alongside a BrM monk mostly, a warrior everyone and again and a Druid every now and again. The Druid is much lower ilvl (589 vs 570ish) but in AoE situations unless I was really trying to pull threat off him he would just take it all no problems (however as a pala I'm used to awful snap AoE snap aggro). Paragons is defo solo tankable, we used to sell flex boosts in my guild and i would solo tank paragons with 1/2 healers from the guild and then whatever the boosties were. That was doing it as 25 man but obviously i was something like 570ish ilvl on my paladin

No point in have enchanting as you can DE your gear in your garrison with the enchanting house. Yes you could make your own enchants but if your selling the disenchanted mats youd probs end up making more gold from them then the gold youd save from selling them. Engineering is keeping some of its bonuses (rocket boost and the glider) so that seems an almost must have for speed/utility. Besides that then yeah, maybe leatherworking for your own gear or if your in a guild that smashed through the current normal content soon to be heroic then thats not going to be that useful, so try a gatherin

With the buffs BrM monks just got they are really strong, druids are very very strong atm with savage defence now a 70% reduction and 2 charges of it. But like Etsarriol said its about how you play as a player more then as per class. Tanking is going back to tanking, in other words staying alive and positioning the boss/raid rather then loling at your dps cause you damage is twice they can put out. Im no ret pro but I do talk with the rets in my guild alot (us palas have to stick together and all that!) But one thing I would say is that the glyph of mass exorcism is a waste on malk as it is, in reality, a single target fight. Yes the add (or adds in 25man) need to die however in reality being able to use judgment/exorsism when your soaking a pool will help your dps. A huntard turning around and saying that your above him in most fights is, in all honesty, a bad hunter. We currently stack 5 hunters in my guild as they are just op atm. Paragons damage makes me lol... we had a lock in the guild who was topping meters, then once we used warcraft logs filer process which allows you to basically say "delete any damage on rikal before skeer is dead" and carry this on all fight for your kill order (basically giving you any one players effective damage to the raid) he was bottom... THis tool is great for finding out whos cleaving way way way to much amd whos cleaving for procs. Get on warcraft logs (assuming someone logs there in your guild) apply the filters and lol. I bet your damage wont seem that bad after looking into it!

Also dont forget about your glyphs, ret glyphs are great for survivability! I remeber going ret on thok when we tried something out and was uber worried about my health pool (going from 1mil hp down to what ever it was seemed scary lol) but with the damage reduction glyphs it was like hardly any damage at all if I timed everything correctly.

You've obviously not thought of bosses that can 1 shot you with an ability... Lets talk about siegecrafter 25 hc and with going up to say 7/8 stacks - a SS can actually count as a CD due to the stupid amount of vengance you gain, it actually saves your life, i use SS here due to the fact it means i can save my DP for 1 stack later meaning more survivabilty for later in the fight, which is defo needed. Yeah its a global but so what, its a 30 second long buff on yourself that keeps you alive through 1 shot (dependent on your HP/STAM) abilities Its a choice at the end of the day, each
