Afaik the damage from the eruption counts towards the ring but the damage you to towards the eruption doesn't.

Hi, Without going and checking which abilites are learned at each level, you will level fast enough that you will be gaining abilities fast enough that the abilities available will change frequently. The priority doesnt really change from what it is at max level other than if you dont have an ability you move down the list. Leveling toons are fairly indestructible these days. As long as you guard and expel harm properly and use keg smash on cd then you will have plenty of chi, do plenty of damage and wont die. Happy Killing Brew

Hi, You are right that haste does affect the duration of the insanity and you will need 6 - 8 seconds to properly execute the rotation without interrupting(reduced by haste). They aren't absolute numbers so dont get too hung up on the numbers 6 and 8. The theory doesnt change for how to maximise the insanity. You want the maximum number of ticks(and maximum MB usage) regardless of duration and you take advantage that Insanity can be cast on the last tick of Devouring Plague and it will remain Insanity for the entire channel. Hello there, There is no real haste cap to aim for now. You want to get as much mastery as you can. The haste debate is all about lowering the GCD as shield spamming is the life of a disc priest so lower GCD means more shields. IMO Mastery is still the biggest bang for buck. Happy Killing Brew

Logs will help. It can then be seen what you do on the pull (even though you did list it) and can also see what the other tank does. Some tanks are thinking about survivability 100% and not about threat.

Im not sure where you read this. All i see in the rotation section(here) is: Cast Prayer of Mending on cooldown. In almost all situations.

IMO still go for mastery in gem and enchant slots because of its power in disc and still relatively useful for holy.
