So there was another ToTH change and MMO-C did not post this with the recent changes, but WoWhead found it: I find this very worrisome.... Excluding the fact that 6% chance is EXTREMELY low... it would only have that 6% chance after using 10 focus...so 0% chance to proc off LnL procs as they are free...wont proc off cobra shot... only time it can roll that 6% chance is when you AS, MS, BA, or GT/Barrage, or Crows. No word yet on whether if using something that costs lets say 30 focus, will give you 3 rolls each with 6% chance, or 1 18% chance roll, or just 1 6% chance to roll

As MM, Focusing shot is the tailor-made and intended to use Tier 7 talent. As a way to play to MM without a lot of penalty however, I doubt it will be chosen. As far as the change to moving aimed shot, I didn't see that in the patch notes as it is listed under "miscellaneous" Tangent: should be under MM changes I didn't try moving while casting on the Beta as there was never a tooltip change Beta tooltip -> All this being said, I still feel MM is very dry and missing something. I I V V Nuf said. But maybe I wasn't clear enough with what I meant, so let me explain. MM having a casted focus gen and a casted focus dump will be very hard to use in any heroic encounter (except patchwork style which is also why above I noted that) when is the last time we have had a heroic style encounter with little to no movement? the closest thing i can think of would be Malk or maybe IJ in this tier. Even in these fights there is plenty of movement and the ability to stop for so much casting is very restricted, and as Bliz makes fights more and more advanced, y

I find the current 3 button rotation (excluding talents and KS since its not usable for 70% of the fight) on the BETA to be extremely dry and boring. MM needs another ability and the mastery is a good idea but needs to be refined a bit more to not penalize movement. I doubt there will be many heroic encounters that resemble patchwork (which is where the current for of MM will excel). But like i said MM is 1 more ability away from being fairly fun to play. So I have been big into SV this entire xpac, and i will try to give you some pointers. For this post: SS-Serpent Sting BA-Black Arrow ES-Explosive Shot AS-Arcane Shot GT-Glaive Toss (talent) CS-cobra Shot RF-Rapid Fire TotH- Thrill of the Hunt (proc; talent) LnL-Lock and Load (proc) When playing SV, you are going to want as close to 100% uptime on SS and BA. as long as you have AoC, you should be able to get close to 100% on BA. BA: Since BA can still snapshot, you do not want to override BA unless you have trinket procs or a potion rolling or something that will make it

Something to note here and make a comparison. All 3 warlock specs had individual CD's. Even affliction which (if blizzard plays their cards correctly) SV could turn into a real dot class rather than a "somewhere in between" class. Maybe centering a maxed stacked ES dump into a trap wont work, but everyone can agree they need to do something. Whether that something is giving us a reduced focus cost of everything CD or a increased MS CD it needs to be something. in the past it has never been a great idea to sit at a very low focus during fights, and to drop 5 explosive shots all costing focus ta

Currently MM is a 3 button procless rotation excluding glaive toss. It is the worst example of a hunter spec. it is just has no flavor at all. MM currently reminds me of BC ele shaman. SV just needs to be given a CD. I feel that with the new exotic munitions (poison) and either some mastery tweaking, or a useful CD, SV would be in a great place. I would personally love to find a completely different stat priority that doesnt match with BM or MM. Ex: MS > Mastery > Crit >and so on

15% from a scope proc is...awesome. Same test, 4 BA's BA #1: 4 procs BA #2: 6 procs BA #3: 4 procs BA #4: 6 procs I did notice something that I hadnt realized at the time; If you naturally keep 1 charge of LnL (since it has a 30 second duration) you will never have a ES CD. with a MS% around 50, you will have a good amount of LnL procs to satisfy you. i could see the potential of that "hold onto 1 charge" method to have better sustained DPS. They need to just give us a CD >.<

with that 23% MS at lvl 90, i hit a test dummy with 4 BA's the LnL spread looks like this: BA #1: 0 procs BA #2: 4 procs BA #3: 3 procs BA #4: 1 proc You should know that about 3 weeks ago i did the same test on a lvl 90 with 3 BA's and only saw 1 proc of LnL between all 3 casts. This latest test to me seems what i would call very good RnG

Unfortunately with reforging gone, and the pretty much 0% chance for them to backdate gems and enchants to have MS on them, the only MS you will get is off Haromm's Talismon and baseline stat. Celestalon has been asked about this before as well and he said something along the lines of "i know it will suck but 6.0 wont be too™ long" Also here is my 586 LvL 90 hunters's secondary stats on the Beta w/MS buff from wind serpent

Ok guys, I wrote a pretty lengthy post discussing alot of my concerns with 6.0 SV hunters, and shortly after lost it all to a computer crash. Nixx highlighted a good amount of my thoughts but I will continue with additional suggestions and concerns. Very excited for this. Except I'm a SV/MM hunt 4 lyfe so sac pet will most likely be the best.
