Just back from nerzul challenge mode. He's taking 3million from auto attack and 321k from omen of death. really dunno if it's normal or not, we just feel it's too much for physical attacks... :/

Hello paladin fellows o/ I'm actually here on behalf of a friend. my tank friend was asking me about questions that I really couldn't answer, and since I had a very good experience asking my own questions here on this forum I thought it's a good idea the question is, he's taking so much damage when it's physical! I mean when the majority of damage in an encounter is magical he's capable of managing it so well. But when a boss or pack of adds are hitting him physically, then the troubles begin! like the spider boss in everbloom or nerzul challenge mode. Right now his stat priority is

having your raid wide mana cooldowns managed could help you a lot in this case. my co-healer is a resto shaman, my hymn + his mana tide let me play on 7k spirit and him on 9k. also keep in mind that u can get most use of other raid member cds like shadow priest's hymn or boomkin's innervate.

ty for quick response. well actually that's how I did it at first, but the raid leader realized it and asked me to do full atonement. I think that's because we're trying to 3-man healing it. In this case if atonement heal isn't really "smart" it's honestly just a waste. so do you know how does it work? i mean it heals based on only health point or hp+shields?

Hello every1 again. We killed shamans and nazgrim: http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/WmM2tqcxPXdgA4Jw#type=healing&fight=13 now we're at the first real heroic boss, malkorok. and there's a situation I'd really like to hear ur opinions. well... i know disc just ain't good for this fight, I'd really like to switch to holy or get replaced :D our raid leader (who is a decent person) has his own reasons to keep a disc in raid, the reasons are probably pain suppression and atonement healing. well... I feel like atonement healing isn't working on this fight, i mean it heals a player with

We gave some tries last night. and you were right it was quite easy. actually we all had net problems (idk if it's whole realm having such issues now). however, the tank on down died at 24% of boss hp on a falling ash. the raid leader said it's because I'm low geared and my atonement isn't sufficient to keep the tank up. I'm 552 while rest of the group are 565+, the tank is 572. so what do you think? imo it can be done with current ilvls. maybe we need to manage cooldowns more efficiently? or there's no way it can be done with my current gear? :/

I read the other topic and posts. as far as I could understand it'll be more like DS and stand behind the stacked group all the time, shielding iron prison fading debuffs, atonement on untill 50%, SS on falling ashes and that's it?!

Ok so this time I confidently say it's bugged somehow :D not that I'm pretty sure I had inner fire up, the addon and the weakaura wouldn't let me skip it anymore. about the pride gaining... yea that's actually fun, that how did we even kill the boss. we were missing 3 core raiders and had some highly geared ppl who appearently didn't want to close the rifts. the raid leader begged them for it and we did it after more than 30 wipes, which is totally fun. because we one-shotted first 3 bosses. Thank you guys for the advises, I did what you said about the raid frame, macro and you were right it's better now. brutal your posts about strategy r really helpful, giving a very good understanding of fight. ty for the aura, I prefer using both the aura and addon :D next time not using inner fire would be so awkward :P on dark shamans I was actually bad -_- not as a matter of healing done, I just played somehow bad. It never get that intense, even if it would get so bad I still shouldn't have fail at the most important thing of the fight. if I failed to shield an IP that's my failure. on Iron juggernaut we talked about healing cds and had them managed up front. we figured out the order after so many wipes :P I'll try what you said about halo and ofc cascade next time. about PWS, is it

Thank you Brutal for reviewing the log <3 on dark shamans we went 3tank and 3healers. 2tanks and a healer took Haromm away from the raid. the other tank, tanked Kardris and every1 else stacked and moved around him. I actually had a problem during the fight and that was because I had removed the glyph of holy fire the boss was out of my range most of the times. I think I'm gonna get some sound alert on weak auras for archangel. sounds like I need it -_- ty for addon recommendation.

there's also one more thing, which actually is off-topic, but I'm so desperate digging in the log and not finding an answer that I bring it up here, maybe u guys know it. our dk (who is a decent player) had a problem with knockback mechanic, not getting knocked back! At first he was using AMS and obviously that was the reason, but later on next tries he didn't use any of his defensive cds and still didn'g get knocked back sometimes. what could be the reason?

I definitely will post every kill I do in here. I'm eager to hear your opinions, that's the way I can learn. that kill was my first this week, cause the guild is on hc progress and it's more logical for them to get a more-geared healer. and you know about the pugs be +570 for normal. you hardly can get in a pug with 550. especially without a ahead of curve Garrosh achieve (which I don't have) we're gonna try iron juggernaut tonight, and weather we kill it or not, I'll post the logs. brb going p4 lfr ) EDIT: iron juggernaut and shamans r down \o/ http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/Nn

again, thank you so much steve for the the time <3 about the trinket, I don't have that trinket at any version :( the only other trinket I have is Thok's thooth at lfr grade. is it still better than nazgrim's trinket? about the SS, so u mean I should use SS more, right? Although I agree with you, SS has a cd of 1min and 3 casts for a 14-minute fight is just low. but there's some sort of a situation in our raid, that I'm far below every1 else as a matter of gear (they're all like 565+ while I'm 550ish) and that leads them to comment on every single ability I have :D for example this
