  1. That's nice :) Can imagine it took you a while to write that... Kudos :)
  2. I found it better not to interrupt the amber weavers. In higher waves you'll need your interrupt CD for the healers. If you take the glyph that gives your blink two charges, it's really easy to evade the globes. Just blink through them and position youself behind the target you want the amber globe to hit. Also as already mentioned Ice Nova is great because it gives you an additional interrupt for the healers.
  3. Ah, well didn't think about that.. But still this would just mean there's less difference damage wise (and therefor you're problably good if you just ignore it) but the basic question remains the same.. Btw: does the dot of FS increase with elemental fusion too or just initial damage?
  4. Thanks for your answer Stoove, as always greatly appreciated :) Yeah as you said, the value of Elemental Fusion with Flameshock is higher that with ES anyway so I imagine there won't be much difference whether or not you keep an eye on the stacks or treat them (more or less) as a passive damage gain.. But certainly there is an optimal way to do it I imagine the calculations would be complicated though, with both Lava Surge procs and Lightning Shield charges genaration affected by rgn Well maybe we'll be able to at least see a "rule of thumb" how to do it once we have more logs from actual
  5. Hello fellow shamans! I have a question regarding the Elemental Fusion talent. Since we cast LvB very often I feel that (exept for the opener) it should be easy to maintain a buffed FS on the boss. Most of the time we'll even have 2 stacks to cast ES. But let's look at the worst case scenario here: What if I end up sitting on 17+ (or worse, 20) stacks if lightning shield, my shocks off cooldown, but with zero elemental fusion stacks? Would it be worth delaying my earth shock to first build up those elemental fusion stacks? Or at least one stack given it'd take quite some time to cast tw
  6. I even once continued an arena after naxxramas hit - hadn't played in quite a while^^ Was still good to continue, just a bit of a disadvantage because of some new cards that simply didn't existed back when i picked my arena deck :) So yeah, there seems to be no time limit at all - not even an expansion hindered me continuing ;)
  7. As berlinia mentioned, heirlooms can make a huge difference dps wise.. But even with equally good gear you have to keep in mind, that the class balance during leveling is horrible sometimes. For one part tanks tend to deal insane damage in dungeons, partly because of the revenge mechanic and partly because they tend to have powerfull aoe very early. If you are just looking at "damag done" or "dps done" the aoe during trash will dominate the meters.. Just relax and try to optimise your rotation, get some practice playing your mage :) Mages deal fair damage when leveling and I am sure you w
  8. Short answer: don't do it.. Of course as you level up you probably want to quest in elemental spec and maybe heal in dungeons. That is fine and probably easier than if you choose enh as your damage spec. But once you hit lv 90 and maybe want to start raiding in some way, you should aim to grab two different sets of gear. The reason is, that the stat priorities for resto and ele are very different. Worst problem is probably spirit, which translates to hit for ele but every point over 15% is utterly wasted. Next big thing would be crit from my point of view, which is great for resto yet so
