Your Destruction DPS is also low because you are running Glyph of Dark Soul. And while it makes no difference to DPS, you are running Minor Glyph of Health Funnel and Grim Sacrifice.

Apparently there is currently a bug in the game that causes damage 'smoothing' between normal and empowered Corruption. The only way to get full damage is to either update Corruption with Fel Flame or allow it to fall off completely and then get re-applied. This is supposedly being fixed in 5.1.

I'm handicapped so I have to run castsequence macros. At most I can break it up into about four macros. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure two of them have to be Haunt and Drain Soul which leaves me two left. You previously advised that I have one macro be nothing but SB: SW which leaves my last macro to pick up from the moment SB: SW is cast and manually refresh those DOTs. So it looks something like 'MG, MG, UA, MG, Corrup, MG, UA, Agony'.So whenever I Haunt it sets the timing back 2 seconds, which would be fine with Corrup and Agony but UA is so short I have to scramble to catch the macro back u

Yeah, I was definitely asking for help on how to keep it up, not help on 'not using' it. The problem I am having is casting UA means I constantly have to cut off MG to recast UA. Because of all the different timers my usual rotation looks like SS: SW, Haunt, MG, UA, MG, Corrup, MG, UA, MG, Agony, Haunt, UA, ect. It runs out so fast I keep having to interrupt MG over and over again. That cast time murders my DPS.But if I just use SS: SW constantly I can't keep a positive shard count for Haunt.

I keep trying to get my numbers up as an affliction lock, but Unstable Affliction has such a low duration that I'm constantly having to stop and fuss with it instead of doing things that generate good DPS. What is the secret to keeping Unstable Affliction up without tanking your DPS?

Could someone be so kind as to post a quick reference about item levels and expected DPS for affliction? I currently have an item level of 451 and only pull 25k, where as many other DPS are pulling 35-50k. I want to know if this is just normal for affliction given my item levels, and what I should aim for with future item levels.

How do you keep up a positive flow of soul shards to haunt with? When I run Soul Burn: Soul Swap and MG I end up losing shards over the course of the battle, not gaining them. Is it worthwhile to use Drain Soul above 20% just to regain shards for Haunt?

I just ran around and tested it on about 30 different enemies. I can officially confirm that a castsequence macro with Soulburn and Soul Swap absolutely will cast Soul Swap a second time regardless of the fact it is only in the macro once. Does anyone else know why?

How am i double casting Soul Swap when it is only in the macro once?

I created a macro that reads "/castsequence reset=target Soul Burn, Soul Swap, Malefic Grasp, etc", but whenever I try to use the macro this happens: 1st click: Casts Soul Burn! 2nd click: Puts Agony, Corruption, Unstable Affliction on the target. 3rd click: Inhales Agony, Corruption, Unstable Affliction from the target. What am I doing wrong?
