Seems like there is a bit of contradiction between the deck described and the deck that is actually posted. For example Doomsayer is listed as a key element against aggro but it's not even in the deck. Similarly the guide says you can substitute something for a faceless manipulator but there are already two in the deck.

I played this 20 times and I never got through his armor. I've tried 3 or 4 different decks. It always seems like he has 4+ minions on board by turn 3 and somehow always has something like gruul on turn 5. This is just insanely unfun

I guess he answered that by putting it in the deck, lol. It's very good for long games and can make control matchups much better. And it's still good for those turns where you just have nothing to play, even against faster decks.

One silly combo you can pull off with this deck is Equality into Ragnaros, Lightlord for a guaranteed heal on your face

It's worth mentioning that Forbidden shaping is a good way to include high cost minions in a deck without having to muddy up your curve. So it can both work as a way to smooth out your curve in the early game (ie, give you something you can actually play), while also having the possibility of creating a high value minion when played later in the game. I think it's particularly good when played on 8 mana - where there are a lot of strong minions which don't have battlecries - Gromm, Tirion, Al'Akir, Gruul, both Ragnaros. Of course there are a few whiffs - Fossilized devilsaur, Giant Sandworm an

Thanks Sottle. You've been doing a great job keeping up with all these crazy decks people have been coming up with in the past few days. Really looking forward to more guides in the coming weeks.

Yea the MtG deck was called "Miracle Grow" after the brand of plant fertilizers. It was called that because it was based around a card called Quirion Dryad which grew +1/+1 every time you played a spell which wasn't black I believe. The deck was designed to grow your Dryads to gigantic sizes. Hence the name. I From what I understand the original miracle Rogue decks were based around Questing Adventurer and van Cleef since they are the natural Hearthstone counterpart to this card, but obviously people figured out that Auctioneer alone was enough to carry the deck archetype.

Wait, did you just say that you lose to aggro with aggro counter? This is not fault of the deck, which has been used by so many players to get to legend, this is your fault. You should actually be favoured against control priest (not sure about dragon priests). There is only thing I can say about this: "Mad 'cuz bad" I get where he's coming from. Priest can definitely be an annoying matchup because of Entomb and Deathlord, which allows them to draw pretty heavily and not worry too much about fatigue. There's also the occasions where the deathlord pulls your Justicar or Alexstrasza. It's

Well saying that there is nothing to protect with taunts in this deck is just wrong - kel'thuzad is an excellent card to protect with taunts - especially since killing those taunts while kel'thuzad remains alive is pointless. Big taunts are also a decent way to offset the lack of effective board-clear in the druid class, especially without combo. As for cycling - if you're having issues with it you're probably not playing the deck correctly. this deck is pretty slow and pretty much always plays for value (i.e., it almost always wants to trade since it's minions should always be higher valu

This deck is a lot of fun! A lot of midrange shaman decks feel so useless if they lose tempo but this one actually does a lot better in that situation. There are lots of things that it can use to get back onto the board, and not just limited to the options of lightening storm and fire elemental. People also seem to underestimate how annoying Rumbling Elemental can get if they leave it up. It does seem fairly weak to aoe and really struggles to get anything done once it does have tempo, however. Reno decks just own it since it takes so long to do real damage. Like you will have complete board c

The only thing I'm currently missing in the Adventures is the last three wings of Naxx. I have everything else. Based on that I would recommend Face Shaman. Warlock Zoo (the one without Dr. Boom, demons and Voidcallers) is also OK. If you do end up getting those last Naxx wings you could try a Hybrid Hunter or Face Hunter list. Mad Scientist is unfortunately mandatory for those decks. Another possibilty which is somewhat FoTM and significantly less braindead than the aforementioned decks would be LOKshadow's OTK Warrior list, which is a ridiculous 540 dust (it has 1-2 rares dependi
