Yep. Last year's D4 announcement was one for the ages. Unforgettable. I am bummed there will be no Blizzcon this year, but I am still looking forward to the esports competitions in the online Blizzcon in February, plus hopefully some new trailers, etc on D4.

This is exactly the build I want try on the PTR, Notoriousthf. Especially given the added Akkhan set bonus too. I wonder what might work best in the free 4th Cube slot?

I am totally with you on the Druid. I want to see that class come to D3. But, what I want more is Blizzard addressing the endgame because if they don't, then a month after the Druid releases, we'll all end up still saying the same things -- get rid of the botters, there has to more than GR grinding, balance the classes so there are more options, etc.

Well, the thing is WE did not come up with the whole concept of seasons. Blizzard did. And it's a brilliant concept -- starting fresh every 3 months or so with nothing. But, with that concept how are you going to keep die-hard seasons players engaged and willing to return over and over again without at least some tweaks and changes?

When someone in the audience asks if this is an out-of-season April Fools joke, and when Blizzard's own YouTube trailer of Diablo Immortal gets downvoted by thousands, it's a real wake up call. I sincerely try and be positive most of the time with Diablo stuff. But, yesterday really affected me. Wyatt was booed for goodness sakes. And his best response to the audience is "don't you guys have phones?" I will not be playing Season 16.

..."and we MAY have some things to show you later this year" is a bit different than "they WILL share more details as you describe, Stan. I'm quibbling on language, but perhaps Brandy is giving Blizzard an out with her word choice. Now, IMO, there's no way in hell she would come out so publicly and tease us like that and then there be absolutely no Diablo news at BlizzCon. I am very excited and can't wait for virtual tickets to go on sale.

But, to play devil's advocate, you'd have plenty of players totally willing to pay for both. So, no market share loss at all.

Yeah, I have wondered the same thing myself. I am doing a HOTA Barb exclusively this current season and when given the choice of crit chance or HOTA bonus on the helm I chose the skill bonus just for what you mentioned: there's already plenty of crit chance from multiple sources.

I have to jump on the bandwagon here and say, "well done" Deadset. I do look at other D3 guides as well when I plan out a season -- i.e. Rhykker, Bluddshed, Leviathan, etc -- but, the way you put everything together with the sections so organized is second to none. Keep up the good work.

Hehe..yeah the title on Icy Veins is misleading. I'm sure I was not the only one who immediately logged onto Battlenet to see if the season started early.

Gonna rebirth my beloved Barb that I created at ground zero for the game back in 2012. He'll be HOTA all the way with the new crazy buffs.

Deadset, thank you as always for the great guides on Icy Veins. It is greatly appreciated. I always tell my clan mates to come here first for ideas. I am doing this Crusader build this season (#10) and am really enjoying it. I have done a Invoker thorns build many times and wanted something different. What do you think about having 2 pieces of Invoker with this build? Right now I have the shoulders and bracers and I'd like to think that the 15 yard aoe of the 2 piece Invoker set helps a bit clear the trash. But, I am not sure and wanted your opinion. I can see having another passiv

Whirlwind itself needs to be buffed on the set. One might think that the Dust Devils do a ton of damage from the 6-piece bonus and if they indeed hit stuff, they are decent. But, they do not always hit stuff and then the twisters and all their great damage is a waste. Another problem with the set: whenever I see a high level WW Barb they do not use Rend - myself included. So, that set bonus is a waste and could be changed to something more appropriate.

Hi Deadset. I just saw that Roland's will be the Crusader set for season 7. I love tanking and supporting my small clan group and have done so with Barbs and Monks and yesterday I was in a public group with a support Crusader with a Roland set up. He did an amazing job but I am wondering with the 2.4.2 support nerfs if that build will still do well in season 7. If you think the Roland support build is still good would you mind detailing it for Icy Veins?
