For sure, just carry your arcane charges from mob to mob and drink as needed for mana. But it doesn't do well when swamped by mobs. If you're leveling efficiently by pulling multiple packs Frost will do a lot better.

Frankly, I have no idea why they moved away from PvP templates. They made the decision to throw away a system that worked and try something new in the templates, and even if it wasn't perfect, at least they were making PvP more accessible and alt friendly and all that. Some people complained because their template was garbage, but they could have fixed that. But instead of trying to rework it for BFA and War Mode so that it actually matched their design intentions, they went back to honor/conq, but with a completely inept and thoughtless implementation that disregarded what they'd learned in t

Mind Tether now connects the primary tank to a random target if a second tank is unavailable on all difficulties. Mind Tether now reflects 100% (was 50%) of the inflicted damage to the Mind Tethered partner on all difficulties. Um, that's a pretty big change. Goes from a 1 tank fight to a 2 tank fight overnight. Hope the guilds running this all read the blue posts.

This week's affixes, Fortified-Sanguine-Grievous-Beguiling: - Hard on healers in general, especially during trash when players may suddenly take spikes from Sanguine pools if they're not attentive, and they may block the way forward in tight areas. Also, Void Emissaries will become rapidly lethal if there is no convenient place to block line of sight, which makes certain pulls in open areas of dungeons like Freehold and Motherlode very dangerous. - There can also be difficulty during certain boss encounters where group-wide spikes can cause a pull to go down the toilet if the Grievou

This was badly needed. It simply was not feasible to take the Void-Touched Emissary together with some of the packs - like the last pull in King's Rest before the Council boss or the one before Lord and Lady Waycrest. You have to kite them to Timbuktu, but it's still preferable to getting your tank smacked down by unavoidable damage.

I was very impressed with how well tuned and polished Operation: Mechagon was. They seem to be coming back to form after a pretty bad start with Uldir and countless issues with the early builds of the 5 mans. I just hope they will curb the difficulty after they open it up to keystones. It's fine for it to be punishing now, but it will be more than a bit much to do on a +10.

Before the hotfix, you could cast Cyclotronic Blast while moving, channel it while moving, cast other spells while channeling, and it didn't share a 20-second cooldown with other on-use trinkets. That made it far and away the superior trinket. I'm not sure where it lies now, but as a tank I switched to something else, because I need to keep my active mitigation up. Too much of a tradeoff for damage.

I'm anticipating something along the lines of the Aldors/Scryers from BC. That power struggle created a pseudo-factional conflict, in which any player of either faction could choose either side. Their technology at the time was more limited; I imagine they could make a much deeper experience based on that idea now.
