So i dont wanna rant about itemlevel epics and rares but i probably will. i just dont get the itemlevel vs stats calculation. why can you recieve and item thats up too 35 itemlevel higher with the same secondary stats as an 815 item ? i know that int/agi/Strength and stamina have a set amount for each itemlevel. I mean for my shadowpriest im having a hard time swapping my heroic ring ive got thats got an itemlevel of 825 but rolled with a socket, its got 1k haste and 600crit, which is the same amount of haste and crit on my 840 ring i got. but since it got a socket its still worth k

Thanks for the fast reply, the reason im not sure is because im stuck in school at the moment and dont have an opperunity to check i remember leveling it up yesterday but i just dont remember if it was from 19 to 20 or from 20-21, and yeah the time ive spent sofar in this expansion is probably unhealthy but cant say anything else other then that i love it so far. Like Blainie said i believe that haste is something that you might find on gear pieces with mastery. its not something you should be looking for. I'm playing holy as my offspec, eventhough my itemlevel as holy is higher than my shadow gear (rip) i go straight for mastery/Crit if i see that. there is really no need for haste imo. especially not a surtain % of haste. ive healed all the different mythics including court of stars and Arcway without any issues, obviously we wont know until raids if this is the way to go but i dont see it being much different there.

Hi, First time posting here, mostly been creeping about. So i main shadow priest in Legion and i went straigth for the recommended 2nd major trait and then for the 3rd recommended trait. my weapon is as of now i think level 20? perhaps 21 im not entirely sure. So to my question, how much did i screw up? how massive is the trait that i was supposed to go first according to the shadow priest guide here on icy veins?
