3 is helpful, but not mandatory, you just at least need to have one stack of Frenzy during BW. More is helpful. It is never wrong to sit on stacks for a little bit of time if it guarantees you more stacks for burst dps. It is worth casting Barbed Shot regardless of your charge status if Frenzy is down, and Bestial Wrathis up. The idea is that you always want at least one stack of Frenzy active during Bestial Wrath, even if you cannot reach 3 stacks on it. Even one stack of Frenzy during BW is a gain in itself, and having one or two regularly in every BW is going to be worth more

I've taken a step back from competitive raiding this expansion and will mostly be pushing M+ once my schedule allows, but I'm more than happy to help out any way I can. During legion when I was still BM (before swapping to MM) I was regularly parsing high oranges and as BM has hardly changed I still feel very confident I know my business. I wouldn't expect any sort of payment, however being on an Australian server my times may be slightly different - a few people on Icy-Veins regularly get me to look at logs/armoury and we converse through messages. Feel free to add me on bnet at Andanat

Honestly if you sim for stat weights, there's almost no variance in what the secondary stats give, maybe it's the difference between 1 or 1.5 at most. Most of your upgrades will come from agi and weapon damage, that's what you realistically want to be aiming for. Like Khallid said, rings are going to be the ones you want your ideal stats on but everything else is pretty much agi > secondary stats at this stage. We have no breakpoints yet so there's no reason we want to be realistically chasing one secondary stat more than any other at this stage - i.e. later in the game where a certain % of

That, and SV relies very heavily on haste, which we are in extremely short supply of at the moment compared to the end of legion. Mongoose Strike only pulls ahead of Tip of the Spear with higher haste (guide recomments TotS with ~10% but realistically still worth it til much higher IMO).

Use it to keep your stacks up, or use it if you get a proc. It's okay to sit on a charge for a little while with the DF build as you're not running OWtP and it won't proc as often. You should aim to keep as many stacks up as possible during BW. Since AotW buffs your pet damage slightly with Thunderslash, you want that extra attack speed so always worth trying to keep 2 stacks or higher during BW if you can. Aim to use AMoC before BW and TT during BW as well if possible (not always possible to line this up). TT is off the GCD anyway so it's easy to weave in.

I mean it sucks when you play in a team that has a lot of Sephuz wearers and they're all fighting for the interrupt, but it makes it very nice on bosses where you can CC (aggramar is one).

Other option is to ice trap adds - since I haven't played current SV since launch, I don't think it has binding shot, but if it does that works too on small adds. It's mostly there for the stats and movement speed (which is also how it sims, not taking into account the proc). Any time you proc the effect, it's just added dps.

You should most definitely invest in running M ToS every week to get 2pc T20. The strength of that set bonus is invaluable! You don't make effective use of your TS windows. You barely peak above 3m on any fight, even through lust and execute. Looking at Imonar, that's a perfect example of an execute phase with minimal interference - save your trueshot there until you've got at least 15-20 stacks of bullseye. Your stat weights seem very strange, you don't have a lot of mastery and your haste is quite low too. I'd personally be aiming for at least 18% haste to make it a comfortable rot

Moar haste! Yeah pretty much put priority on DB and if you're running stomp, never have it sitting on 2 charges, always use them ASAP.

Prydaz acts as a shield, meaning if you have 6m hp and get 1.5m extra from prydaz, you can take a 7.4m hit and still be alive. Whereas with roots, you can heal through small damage with ease, but you can't take bigger hits. Roots is the best for self healing, but prydaz is the best for damage reduction particularly in raids purely to the ability to take an additional hit or a larger hit without dying. I can't tell you how many times I've died on prog bosses by less than a 50k overkill.

Please don't comment on an old thread (especially one that's over a year old) to ask a new question, just start your own thread. We generally won't get notifications if you comment on an old post, but we will if you make a new one and it makes it easier to respond quickly.

ToS sets for SV are garbage, you want to run 4pc T21 with 2 off-pieces, since most times you'll be running Sephuz + Call of the Wild. You'd have to sim yourself for which tier pieces fit best for you, but generally best to avoid legs and shoulders from my understanding - since they both have a bit too much crit and not enough haste/versa. But realistically it depends on what other items you can replace with.

I would honestly just find a misdirect to pet macro, and use that regularly with a pet in MM. They're two very different playstyles (although both are incredibly simple, pretty much the easiest in the game) so if you want to get some practise in before raiding, I'd go with leveling as MM but with a pet. BM can be really good for leveling and it's got good burst readily available far more often, so that's always a positive, but just go with whichever looks the most fun to you!

There is no cap for any stat for BM, just go with what your individual stat weights from your sims say. If you don't know how to do that, download the addon SimC and type /simc in game, copy the data and paste it into raidbots.com to do a stat weights check. Make sure you start the fight with Murder of crows before you use BW, as the damage boost is applied to dots already on the target, it saves you a GCD to use during your BW windows. If you're having issues with focus, it means you're spamming Cobra Shot too much - unless you're in a BW window, you don't want to be unable to cast

Well, you were very very lucky to get 950 T20 shoulders, I never got above 915 despite having downed M Avatar. I would imagine if you went and got a T20 helm from M DI that was at least 930 (first few bosses of mythic ToS are an absolute joke to pug), you could replace your T20 legs and T19 cloak with 2pc T21 and it could be an upgrade. Buuut you could also just stick with your 2pc T19 which has pretty decent ilvls and just enjoy your high ilvl parses!
