The sims I linked have been updated with the latest changes to FDK. Nothing much changed. Short recap: Relics - in terms of T20 the places have shifted a bit. For single target Ambidexterity now firmly takes the first place, beating Nothing but the Boots (second place), Cold as Ice (third place) and Blast Radius (fourth place) by a relatively small (4k dps vs BR at ilvl 955) margin. For AoE, as expected, Cold as Ice takes the first place, pretty much crushing the opposition (3,5k dps vs BR at ilvl 915). Greetings, friends. I see there are a few inconsistencies in the guide if we factor in some of the latest sims done by the DK discord community. 1) Relics - Blast Radius is no longer the best relic choice. Currently, both Ambidexterity and Cold as Ice outperform it. In T19 ST simulations Ambidexterity is the winner with Cold as Ice following it closely behind (~1k DPS difference) and Blast Radius lagging behind. In AoE situations CaI pulls sightly ahead, but it's basically a safe bet to go for the highest ilvl between Ambi and CaI. In T20 ST simulations CaI is the better c

It seems your point has been mathematically proven right: http://imgur.com/a/jhpx0 As stated, it uses 52 points in the weapon (Concordance at 1 point) and the usual talent build but with Frozen Pulse and T19 equipped. And with T20 the value of the ring is only gonna increase. Legs are not bad at all in terms of dps but really are a niche pick in case you need more controlled aoe burst.

On that we disagree. Actually, Thronebreaker should be working with Runic Chills and both of them combined do work better with legs. For example, lets assume that we get a reduction of 100 seconds for a 5-minute fight. Without the legs you would still be able to do SF twice at best, at the very start and at the last moment or after 200 seconds. Basically, you would only see a difference on a 400 sec+ fight. With the legs, however, you'd be able to do an SF every ~1.7 minutes, giving you an extra SF. And by my calculations, in "real world" it will be more like 1.3 minutes of CD on SF with the l

Have you considered going for legendary legs with Thronebreaker? According to my calculations, even after the nerf we'll be able to have SF on a 80-second cooldown, which would make it pretty strong on cleave/aoe fights and decent on single target fights imo.

Macro related question: How can I combine BoS and Arcane Torrent into 1 button? Specifically, so that I don't turn off BoS by spamming the button or cannot use Arcane Torrent until BoS is up? So far I've tried the following: 1) /castsequence reset=120 Breath of Sindragosa, Arcane Torrent 2) /castsequence reset=120 Arcane Torrent, Breath of Sindragosa 3) /castsequence reset=120 Breath of Sindragosa /castsequence reset=120 Arcane Torrent So far none of the above has given me the result I want. Either Arcane Torrent can be cast prematurely or BoS turns off. Thanks!

Haha, I told you Freezing Fog might be useful, @Blainie :D Anyway, I'm having a real hard time believing those trinket sims, unless they were done for the Obli build. There is no way on Earth CoF is worse than Horn of Valor. Even after the nerf. Also, does Perseverance become the strongest legendary after T19 2P? Or even before that? I've noticed that Howling Blast does a very hefty amount of my damage, being beaten only by Breath but is it really stronger than Torvaron's for Obli or Koltira's for BoS build? Could you be a little more specific? The rune regeneration thing? My money is on Convergence of Fates. It brings HRW's cd right to BoS cd (PPM is 6.0 for FDK). Another trinket I'd say can be worthwhile is Entwined Elemental Foci which could be basically Memento v 2.0. Others dont seem too thrilling.

Ran EN m today with BoS build. Seems absolutely fantastic. From what I saw on warcraftlogs, BoS is the way to go in 7.1.5, since most of the Nighthold fights are "BoS-friendly" from what I understood. I would suggest that you add Seal of Necrofantasia as BiS or at least #2 for BoS build, arguably beaten only by Koltira's. Tovravon's doesn't seem too strong for BoS, but more testing might be required. Another point for future research - how good are T19 set bonuses for BoS and does 4p warrant a switch to Freezing Fog from Horn of Winter?

So did anyone try out the BoS build yet? Or seen any logs? Also, in the BoS build, is Horn of Winter really better than Freezing Fog? Especially with the Perseverance of the Ebon Martyr.
