I just played a bunch of games with him and tried an AA build and a blade dash build. Either way, you can go through your mana FAST even at lvl 20. For the Blade dash build, once you hit lvl16, your shields recharge 100% faster while up, each basic ability you use reduces shield CD by 5 seconds, and each time your shield activates, you get 5 seconds off Blade dash. You end up blade dashing CONSTANTLY. Likewise with the AA build, get a swap with chrono surge at lvl 7, graviton vortex at 13 and Blades of a Templar at 16, you're attacking so 'effing fast, your Phase Prism is off CD veeery

As an Affliciton main since forever, I am really quite into these changes. It was interesting having Shadowbolt back but I think Drain Soul will be awesome as presented. Especially with the nice finisher feature, something that's always been a problem for them. DOUBLY so with Shadow Embrace at 15.

Omg, I hope this is a hint that they are working on big changes for Rain of Destruction because what a FUBAR heroic. I'd love to see him summon an Infernal instead that he gets to control for a bit. Need to have our WARLOCK do something with demons!

I have a lot of success with Azmo. But I save him for specific maps. He tends to excel on the big maps where his trait can split push while he assists with team fights. Never underestimate the power of dunking with black pool up. IMO, he should take the place of a mage on the team.

Yeah, I'm trying to wrap my head around them. I think no more double parry with +40% duration is going to be VERY healthy for the game as a whole. But I'm wondering how Varian himself will come out of it.
