  1. The build goes through a lot of AP and requires Arcane Power on Critical Hit to keep it up. APoC will proc more with Shock Pulse - Piercing Orb than any other skill. But if you're running a variant of this with Shame of Delsere, you still want APoC but you have more freedom to use other skills like glacial spike or whatever.
  2. Cubed Visage of Gunes and Vengeance with Seethe I believe is the norm (I thought that's what this guide said too, but I could be wrong) -- it works perfectly though, best way to go imo. The other option is to use Cindercoat cubed, but I much prefer having the extra 50% DR from Visage and Seethe is more than enough for resource management. As for Thrill of the Hunt, the reason it's used it because you want to be as far away from enemies as possible. Bane of the Trapped only procs itself in close range, so Thrill is used to slow enemies from far away, which procs both Bane of the Trapped an
  3. I'm sure this has been asked before, but is BoW really that much better than EW set? I still need to get a good Hellfire Amulet with either Steady Aim or Awareness to test things out, but wouldn't this build work well with EW + CoE, and then either Elusive Ring for extra DR or RoRG and Magefists for extra damage? Or is it not even worth trying? I'm thinking BoW + Steady Aim is definitely going to give the highest damage output, but I figured since EW can give DR and opens up another ring slot it might be useful.
  4. " Couldn't Illusory Boots be replaced with Frostburn for a bit more damage? Sure the mobility is nice, but you shouldn't be close enough to enemies to make good use of the boots. I find the boots are far more useful on close combat than ranged. " You have to get close to enemies for OID. Also, if you get caught in a bad spot / monsters with bad affixes, the boots help. Anyway, as mentioned in my previous post, I've been using this build with Teleport and no explosive blast. I've been trying to use the OID variant but it's giving me some trouble -- any tips for getting used to timi
  5. I personally find this build with Teleport (over explosive blast) and Illusionist (over Elemental Exposure) to be much easier to play. Though I don't know how far I can go with my current setup -- I can do GR 90, but I have no augments and few ancients, not sure if obtaining those things alone will be enough to push through 100+. Is it completely necessary to use CoE? Do you think SoJ would be efficient at all? Also to those talking about explosive blast in reference to procing Elemental Exposure: EE works from damage type on weapon, so if you get an Unstable Scepter with fire damage you
  6. Question about CDR% -- is there a glitch in how the game calculates it? Or is it calculated differently from other things? Because I have 38.5% total from gear (10% Paragon, 12.5%, and 2x 8%) but the game is only registering it as 33.35%, even though it should be 0.385 (38.5%). D3planner does the same thing. Even if I only use one gear piece with 8%, instead of 18% with my 10% from Paragon it ends up being 17.2%. I guess I'll have to use a third piece with CDR so I can get 100%+ with Dawn, but does anyone know why it's calculated this way?
  7. Don't know if you're still having a problem with this, but judging by your screenshots (there's no arrows to go through skill tabs) it looks like you've disabled Elective Mode. So you're locked into the skill sets you've chosen. Go into options -> Gameplay and check off Elective Mode and you will be able to get back to the Defensive tab with Teleport.
