Multiboxing should not exist. Period. It completely destroys some of the core concepts of the game. The only reason Blizzard allows it is greed. There is no other reason. It doesn't improve the experience of anyone besides the multiboxer.

It was obvious that they can't just boot the 1.12 server from backup and then implement it. Too many legacy code and bugs. And supporting two different code bases really sucks. So, what they came up with is the obvious solution - just use the base of the game, but scale it to 1.12 content. This way they can implement future stability/backend patches to the Vanilla server as well, greatly reducing the time and effort required to support it. However, while just booting the 1.12 server may have taken like a week, the current project is huge. I will not be surprised if it takes them 2 ye

I was doubtful if there will be enough rewards to enable it, but it seems like it, at least for now. Just having the PvP talents enabled at all time is extremely powerful. At first I thought "well, if they make all PvP entirely optional, then nobody will participate". But then I realized that the reason it's NOT optional is the exact same reason that they can't actually do anything fun with it. Imagine a scenario where the Horde invades Elwynn Forest, burns everything and lays a siege on Stormwind. Can't happen, it will disrupt the gameplay of the PvE players. Except now it can

The main problem is the slowness of the brawl. I think a -3 cost on all cards will solve it for next time.

So, my Tier 1 deck is also a tier 2 & tier 3 deck?
ionix replied to Caldyrvan's topic in General Discussion
I actually think it's better to play a deck that you can play well, rather than a deck that a top 100 player can play well. -
To my understanding, the entire world will be split in 2 shards, and if you are flagged, you will only see flagged people.

Which Hearthstone cards to disenchant?
ionix replied to positiv2's topic in Hearthstone Common Questions
I don't disenchant anything. At the beginning I was the disenchant king, I disenchanted everything I can find so I can make this one deck. Then the deck will go out of style or I will get bored of it, and I would have nothing else. I've not disenchanted anything in the past 2 years or so (except for nerfs, dupes and some special cases), and it's been amazing. I decided to craft all of the classic collection, which took me more than an year. How many cards I had to craft, that I had disenchanted previously ? A lot. Every time I had to do this, I essentially lost 1200 dust. What a waste -
Just a note: Cards are first drawn as regular and then upgraded to golden. So, if you have the full classic collection, you can target a specific golden legendary by basically disenchanting the regular version, since that is the only legendary you can get due to the no dupes allowed rule. Note that this is a risk because you may NOT actually get any legendary from the pack. But if you target a card that you do not use that often, it may be worth it, since you will eventually get it again in a few months just from brawl and quest classic pack rewards. Also, if you are willing to

I don't think it's going to be a Diablo MMO. They will not make anything that takes market share out of WoW. It just doesn't make sense that your games compete for market share with each other.

Is it me or the bundle is not worth it ? First of all, you're getting packs that rotate in a few months, so you get less out of them. Then you are actually not advancing the pity timer by more than 2 cards (it's separate for each pack type), so the chance of getting a legendary from them is actually lower than if you just by 10 packs from a single type. And for me (and other Hearthstone veteran players) the classic packs are worthess. I have the entire Classic collection, and I would imagine that everyone who has played for a few years has it, or has everything that they may need fro

It was about time, really. I can't even imagine how would the game run on a true 32 bit only CPU, like the Pentium 4. Most people that will get affected are likely running a 32 bit OS on a 64 bit CPU, so they will have to reinstall.

Everything was new. Each new level brought a skill I've never seen before, each new zone was a completely new experience. Everything was new and exciting, and everything felt possible. I've never had this experience in any game since then.

I like world pvp. I try to make it as fair as possible - no attacking lower levels, no ganking people low on health or in unfair situations, etc. But we are at a state in the game when people expect the open world to be completely safe, even if they rolled on a PvP server. They are extremely surprised when I attack them while they do world quests semi-AFK. I don't like that, although I understand them as they probably rolled on the PvP server like 10 years ago and a lot of things changed since then. I think that the new system in BfA may improve the situation, because everyone flagg
