I don't believe so, sorry.

Hi! I'm confused with the DoT. Do you mean that the enemy will be burned to death if it is attacked by Spectral blade for three times?

Do you mean the Firebird DoT? It means you need to attack them with 3 different Fire skills, which can only be done in Archon form.

You hit enemies with Spectral Blade because of the stacks + to trigger Bane of the Stricken.

The DoT can be ignored (it would take a day or something like this to kill an enemie with it.

I might be wrong, but I believe they meant the Firebird DoT (just judging by the use of the number 3 there).

hi guys,

noob question. i am try the build in this guide, but the elites do not ignite? what things am i doing wrong?

am i supposed to spectral blade all the way to ignite the elite?

If you mean the triple DoT, you need to use separate Fire skills to do it. Can only be done in Archon.

It is just a priority, not a guaranteed that you'll get them. Aim for the top 4.

Yes.

You need to use your abilities inside Archon.

My doubt is.. my problem is just get better rolls on items, get ancestral items, enchant with gems for extra int and that, or main problem is that im only 400 on parangon? Just to focus on one or another thing to improve.

Both are an issue. Gear is important, but you can only get so much gear. At some point Paragon starts becoming more and more important. Given that you're stuck at GR50, playstyle is probably also a part of it. I'd recommend reading through our Rotation explanation and make sure you're doing what it says when you can.

I do not believe it's possible to ignite during the non-Archon portion. All you're doing then is building up your 20 chantodo stacks and gathering up the biggest mass of enemies you can while waiting for the cooldown.

You are correct.

Both things you mentioned are important - higher Paragon is realy useful (especially CDR, CHC, CHD). And ancient items (especially after you have improved them with gems) help you significantly.

Thanks again for answering :)

Hello there. I may missed it, but what's the suggested CDR? Thanks in advance, and sorry if i missed it. Oh, Great guide, keep it up!

You should aim for 60% CDR. If you have just a little more (60,5%, 61%) it is perfect for your elemental rotation.

I have a question..

Normally you face roll when entering archon to all in melee range, but if you have access to a Oculus RingOculus Ring circle is it worth moving to it and using the beam instead to get the oculus bonus?

I've seen some people do it, but I don't see how that's efficient, I thought a large bonus is the fact of your chantodos waves, and if they don't hit them then they won't proc the burn or the extra chantodo damage?

Or is the fact I'm just dumping out and then hitting with range make up for it?

IMO it depends on the situation:

How long does it take to get into the circle? Just one or two seconds? Or is the path quite blocked and you would have to go around some mobs?

How well is the circle placed? Will you still hit all your enemies? Or will you be out of position?

If the circle is easily reached and your position inside the ring is still a good one it is definitly worth it. The bonus is realy usefull! (That's why equipping your follower with Oculus RingOculus Ring seems like a "must have" to me)

Have you just entered "fire" in your elemental cycle? If yes switching positions for a few seconds is probably not a good idea. The bonus from Convention of ElementsConvention of Elements is more important then that of Oculus RingOculus Ring

And if you are in a group you need to make sure that you are still protected by your tank if you move to the ring. If it is too far off and you loose Mantras / whatever you may die. That would obviously be a bad thing^^

(But if the circle is this far from the tank it will probably quite ot of place too)

Hi,

Would like to know regarding damage as i was pushing for higher GR .

1. Is paragon points contributing to damge add?

2. Besides on gear as guide, would augmentation makes or add damage to it?

Appreciate your assist as how to increase damage.

Thank you.

I am sorry, I am not sure what the difference between "make" or "add" damage is.

Paragon Points spent in Offense increases your damage (by increasing CHD, AS...), this is reflected in your "damage" number in the character screen.

Paragon Points spent in Intelligence increase the damage too. Again, your displayed damage increases.

Same goes for augmentation.

A few hundred intelligence (one augmented item) isn't a huge difference, but it adds up. If you enhance let's say 10 items by 350 points each you have +3500 int. That is huge and helps your damage greatly! (And your all resistance increases nicely too)

It is the same with Paragon: Paragon 800 is very helpful to have all offensive / defensive abilites maxed. Obviously, the difference between e.g. Paragon 800 and 900 isn't that much, just 500 int. But again, it adds up. +1000 Paragon = +5000 Int (or Vitality), that is a major damage increase.

Hi, is there an updated version to this build, or is this exact version still what many use?

Do you think the newer Vyrr's/Tal R build is better?   I felt too vulnerable with the Vyrr/TR build.   Stacks fall off easy and take time to rebuild to put up defense, and extra All Resist really doesn't give much more damage mitigation anyway because of diminishing returns/already having a lot of AR.

But Firebirds is also very vulnerable outside Archon because you can't even get combustion going to give you the mitigation.  The guide talks about being able to run around safely with the set bonus protecting you, but you NEVER get the set bonus going outside archon with this build...  seems like a fast way to die.  But I haven't got to play it yet.  Making my set now.

Thanks for any input

Hi..i was kind off curious...what is the ideal percentage for Firebird?

1- CHC  level

2- CHD level

Thx

The higher the better.

Ideally all your possible items should have CHC + CHD.

Any idea for CHC + CHD figure?....i was trying to get as high as possible.

Least a breakpoint guide that i can refer....

There are no breakpoints like in AS, since CHD increases linear.

Meaning the netto amount of damage you gain if you increase your CHD from let's say 150% to 200% is the same as if you increase it from 300 to 350%.

I never did the math what you can achieve if all your items roll perfectly, probably something like 65% CHC and 550% CHD.

Hi, I'm just testing this build and I like the huge burst potential it provides, I can clear with ease solo 70+, but it seems I can't pass GR75 (on time) because of toughness issues. Currently I have both ancient Chantodo pieces, 60% cdr, Parthan Defenders and cubed Aquila Cuirass but I find myself getting almost oneshooted by trash mobs, even on Archon form and with 6-piece bonus max damage mitigation. I'm 926 paragon level atm with 10.5k intellect and 9k base armor. So I don't know what to do to improve survability towards greater rifts. Any tips?

Blizzard have moved the launch of Season 34 back a week!
While it was supposed to start today, Blizzard cite players not wanting the new D3 and D4 season launches to overlap on the same week, and needing more time to get the season properly set up, as the previous one ended early.
      Season 34 Delay (Source)
      Hi all
We have shifted the start for the new season of Diablo III to next week. This is due to a few items:
We received a good amount of feedback that many didn’t want overlap with the first weekend of Diablo IV’s new season. We agree so we are building out that gap and will be more mindful of that going forward.
This will help us properly ensure account states migrate over as we had an issue with the prior season rolling early and us having to kick things back on.
You can find the exact times on our Season 34 blog.

Cosmetic rewards for the patch are as follows:
Completing the Season 34 Guarian journey grants the Book of Cain pet and the Lost Civilization Portrait Frame.

The specific celestial force imbued within by the divine is unknown—an answer waiting to be sought on the battlefield. Go forth, Nephalem!
Season 34 reintroduces Light’s Calling. Valiant Nephalem who recover Angelic Crucibles, a new consumable item, may use them to Sanctify any equippable Legendary item, infusing it with one of three new class-specific powers at random. We wanted to use Angelic Crucibles to lean into the expertise of each class, further exemplifying its respective prowess, but through a nuanced lens. The High Heavens are home to ethereal splendor, bursting with boundless radiance—we wanted to provide players with a taste of untainted power as doled out from Heaven itself.

It seems something went very wrong with Season 33, as it it just... ended a while ago. Players took to the forums as there was no early warning, other than a server message around an hour before it all ended. PezRadar responded clarifying that this is not intended and that Blizzard are looking into what happened.
      Season End (Source)
Heard and got some pings while I’ve been out and I have production checking on this early end. This shouldn’t have ended today so something is funky. Will provide an update once I hear back.
