Idrud 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) Armory http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/lightbringer/Gaun/simple Recent log (pug group) https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/dyzv2qPQjHrCh6WD/#fight=7 So, is it my talents that are wrong? not casting enough of something? Wrong glyphs? I just want to do a better job at healing. I feel like i should be a solid 30k HPS (or more?). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh, also, if anyone can give me some pointers on what i should be looking for in the logs to help me fine tune what i'm doing, that would be great too! ...teach a man to fish... Houselol 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2015 In 7 wipes you cast Avenging Wrath only twice. That's a large chunk of throughput you're missing.
Troels 9 Report post Posted January 25, 2015 I'd go with Sanctified Wrath and Glyph of mercifull wrath, it works well for me. And maybe you should use Holy Prism instead of Light's hammer, it's really good with the short CD and use it on the boss, you should change it depending on your healing setup, but with a Resto druid, and disc + holy priest, you don't lack AoE heals for when you kill the adds after intermission, so Holy Prism might be better. And also, are you using Mouseover macros? if you are not then you should, it really improves your gameplay.
Idrud 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2015 Troels, I did make the changes you suggested, and my healing output was much better on Tectus. I do not play with mouseover macros -- not even sure how to use them, would i hover over a character model? or just a healing frame? If it is the physical character i hover over, i can't always see them if a boss or other players are stacked on top... I use VhuDo for all my healing, but don't have anything macroed there either. Left click for flash heal, rt click for holy shock, etc...
Elarion 6 Report post Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) Read my advise here. https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/10143-holy-need-help-to-increase-my-healing-done/ Use defensive cooldowns - hand-spells, master aura, divine protection and other. It wont raise your hps at logs, but it will save your mana or even raid from wipe. About mouseover - as i remeber VhuDo already have mouseover preset, so you do not need select target for heal. ps: dont use Light of Dawn, better cast Eternal Flame with 2-3 HP. LoD VERY weak and kinda usless for now, blizzard shoud buff it. Edited January 25, 2015 by Elarion

Elarion 6 Report post Posted January 27, 2015 Manapot ~40k LoH glyph - 16k, sometimes coud use twice per fight, so it will be 32k Candle-trinket - 2min cd, 10k mana. You coud use it 3 times per 6 min battle (first min, third and fifth). Press it when you have less than 145k, dont wait till you will have only 3k. More often you will use it - more mana you will get per fight. Always take like 40-100 manapot for raid. Also you coud stack your HolyPower before fight and cast 2 Eternal flame on tanks, and stack 5 HP again before pull. It will save you a bit mana. Dont forget, EF will stack shield on your tanks, also you coud do this with your HL ~100k shield at two tanks not bad start, it will save you like 6-7HL casts. Also you coud use Int-prepot(1k int for 25sec) for some fights, your heals will be much stronger(it save mana at some point). Btw, i recomend you use health pot, not warlock healthstone, couse hp pot heal better, but its not about mana =)
