GlassesVillain 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2015 Hey guys, So I've been really freaking unlucky with weapon drops and rolls. I'm 660 equipped but I'm still using 1H 655 and 1H 640 as my weapons (Butcher Normal & LFR Axes). However, I also have the Ko'ragh 2H 655 (w/ Slot) and 640 versions. Which should I be using? Also, it's really not advisable to use 2H + 1H yes? Lastly, I also have the 1H 670 Agility Axe from Phemos. Could I use that? It's a 30ilvl difference from one of my current 1H. Is the attack damage worth more than strength? First time playing a warrior. Thanks.
fledermausmann 1 Report post Posted January 28, 2015 Hey, never mix 2h and 1h - thats really important. The 2h with socket would probably be better, if you put a crit gem in it. You could also just play Arms every Bossfight, right now it doesnt matter that much. I wouldnt recommend the Agility Axe.
ragebarr 153 Report post Posted January 28, 2015 Agi axe *might* be better considering how big the ilvl upgrade is, but even then it wouldn't be that big of an upgrade. You're probably better off using the 2 handers, since one of them has a socket. Moreover, 2H offer better DPS on any multi-target fight (as opposed to 1H) while barely sacrificing any single target damage.
GlassesVillain 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2015 Going for the DW 2H then. Oh another question I have is, should both weapons be enchanted with Mark of the Thunderlord? Do the enchants stack with each other? I won't be enchanting my 2nd 2H with it yet as it's 640, but in case I finally get lucky and get a new weapon I'd like to be ready. Thanks for the replies guys! fledermausmann 1 Report post Posted January 29, 2015 Yes, you enchant both weapons with mark of the thunderlord. I probably wouldnt waste 15 shards on the 640 weapon, you could put mark of the shattered hand on it. Depends on you raid if you have to enchant everything with the big enchants :)
ragebarr 153 Report post Posted January 30, 2015 The difference between Shattered Hand and Thunderlord is minuscule on single target (as you can see on the thread I just answered here). As long as your crit level isn't too high, Shattered hand will work just fine.
