Ctee 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) I made a post on mmo-champion, but I want to ask here because my last question went unanswered.http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1705029-Analyzing-Warcraft-LogsThat's the link for reference.Basically, I'd like to know what makes a good Resto druid good. Silly question I guess, but I'm curious. Is it the 90%> uptime on harmony, lifebloom, rejuv? Because I've recently started to focus on that and my rankings on wc logs is consistently poor. Are you considered amazing if you are consistently ranked at the 90th+ percentile? If so, how do you get there?I realize it's a combination of things...when to cast what, do I have the same talents as the pros, etc. Here's a link of yesterdays raids. Please help. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/Rh8rFVJNfA17Z6jQhttps://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/D4vHNWBrbhqcp8dZ Additionally: What boss fights are druids strongest on/weakest on?I'm trying to figure out why I'm pulling 2-3rd place in heals for the most part, but coming up in a horrible percentile on wclogs. My healing team consists of disc, resto druid, Resto shaman, monk, and sometimes a paladin.Am I doomed for low healing because my team snipes my heals? My healing team consists of disc, resto druid, Resto shaman, monk, and sometimes a paladin. Am I doomed for low healing because my team snipes my heals? A Lot of questions, are you amazing at 90%? no is the simple answer, although it all depends on what your comparing it with [big difference between being top 90% in the world and being top 90% of healers/druids on your realm] Looking at ranks just now is pointless for BRF because the amount of data is minimal [5x more people have killed H Kargath than H Gruul] and right now as long as you kill a boss its fine, you logged a lot of Highmaul so can use that for a better comparison https://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/character/4974939/6/#boss=0 Yes you "could" parse/rank higher, but that comes down to a lot of other factors [ie, how good the rest of your raid is at avoiding damage, whether your overhealing content etc] This shows the ranks for all the resto druids on your server https://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/server/90/6#metric=hps&class=Druid&spec=Restoration&difficulty=4 No your not doomed, far from it, but as a serious question In Highmaul Heroic I rank 86% on 2 fights and 94-97% the rest Normal I rank 91-99% [including 174 in the world ] LFR I rank top 75 in the world on all fights [best is 27] Do you want to swap your 5/7M or w/e progress you have for 6/7H and better ranks? TLDR: Progress > Ranks... Ranks will come when you start farming content or dropping healers
Tebowtime 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2015 Get more intuitive with the fight mechanics. You can't help some of the overhealing, especially with your hots, and your tranq does a lot of work for you, which is good, but how much mana are you finishing your fight with? Are you conserving too much mana? I see you have Dream of Cenarius usage. I actually think that talent has a good place, but it must be paired with your soul of the forest talent to be used more mana efficiently. That being said, your wild grown healed for a good amount, but had a 15% uptime in the raid. This style of druid healing requires you to know and predict incoming raid damage, so you know when to have that soul of the forest buff ready to go, on demand, spreading your wild growth.
