Heroic HM Gear vs. Normal BRF gear

My guild, like many others, is moving out of Highmaul and into Blackrock Foundry. I have examined the gear in BRF and have noticed something I am questioning. I believe I know what I would do. However, I wanted to bring it up on the forum and ask all of your opinions. 

 

A lot of the heroic HM gear (i670) does not have Multistrike. A lot of the gear is crit, haste, and mastery. I have noticed a lot of the normal BRF gear (i665) does have multistrike. So, my question is, would you take the deduction in Agility, Stam, and ilvl, to replace say 100 critical strike with about 85 multistrike.

 

The deduction in agility and stam is small. Around -6-10 for each.

I feel the answer is obvious. "Yes," replace the gear. However, I thought I should just tune in and see what you all had to say and why.

I assume you are talking about SV here, and if so then yes the bloodwhirl bracers are better.  The loss of Agi is negligible and you should only worry about stamina if you're a tank, but you're not.

With the stam, I was simply pointing out the fact that it's a loss of stats. And, that was just an example. Say you had all 670 gear and can replace it all with 665 gear all similar to the situation above. You'd stick with the -6-10 in agil for the mastery or haste being exchanged for a lesser amount (due to the lower ilvl) of multistrike???

My ilvl is 675, however I have 24% multi fully buffed. I'd take that over a 680+ ilvl any day.

You can easily find this out by simming yourself and inputting weights in Pawn or comparing them from the Wowhead output link.

Along these lines (and not completely off topic), I saw Odinn's article in the Icy Veins news entitled "WOW Boss Tuning". Very good article and I am glad he pointed us to the Blizzard post by Watcher because it really helped to clear up the relationship of High Maul and Blackrock Foundry (loot, difficulty of bosses, etc.).
