Low DPS 2H frost.

Been using Storms 2H frost weak auras and I feel like I'm lagging behind. Given my item level is lower than the other DK I raid with , I don't think it should be this low. Thanks.

I'm honestly confused, looking at your log. You gear is fine, except the fact that you still use the ilvl 640 legendary ring, which is... surprising, to say the least. And I'd buy myself a pair of crafted hands at that point, really. 615 is way too low.

 

I might add, that I'm not the best at judging logs, but there're a few obvious things going completely wrong here.

 

First of all, let's take a look at the Gruul kill, but it basically is the same with all your kills.

 

1) Your Obliterate and Froststrike crit is way too low, that's what you should aim for:

- >60% for Obliterate

- ~40% for Froststrike

You always want to use your KM (Killing Machine) procs on Obliterate and never on Froststrike, but don't wait for your runes to recharge, if you won't be able to cast Obliterate within 3 seconds. In said case, it's recommended to use KM on Froststrike instead. Another tipp on that matter, if possible, use Froststrike right after you obliterated. This will decrease the change of you wasting KM procs on Froststrike (since said proc only occurs after a new white swing).

 

2) Your disease uptime is incredibly low, especially considering you're using the Glyph of Outbreak. Here is what you want to do:

1. Wait until you've got 30 RP (1 Obliterate)

-> use Outbreak
2. Plague Leech your target, do this on cooldown

-> use Outbreak (you should have enough runic power, if not, wait until you do)

 

3) Why did you use Plague Strike? You actually never use it under any circumstances. Seriously. It only results in a DPS loss.

 

 

I highly suggest you to look into Skullflowers Blog, if there're any issues with your rotation.

The only time you are allowed to Plague Strike, though, is if Blood Plague is not ticking, Outbreak is on cooldown, and you have an Unholy rune up. But since you have Glyph of Outbreak, you should never use it. 

Also, Glyph of Outbreak is considered a DPS loss for every DK DPS spec, so I suggest you swap it for another one.
