demonardvark 556 Report post Posted February 26, 2015 The general rule of thumb is to keep the duration left on necrotic plague above the CD left on unholy blight. Then one necrotic has 1 second left pop unholy blight to ensure 100% uptime on the diseases. You add 8-9 seconds to the current duration of necrotic plague by using festering strike which you want to use your blood and frost runes on. Checking your logs you have very few casts of festering. Festering is your friend. In general you only want to use your blood and frost runes on festering so you can get more scourge strikes in, however, if necrotic is going to fall off and UB isn't about to come off CD then you want to use death runes. I would recommend the above mentioned guide as well In addition; another good tool to help learn the rotation is the weak auras by redfella here on the dk boards. https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/10380-redfellas-unholy-necroticblight-weakauras/ i've seen quite remarkable leaps in dps from people who started using this. Gazooten 6 Report post Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) After a very brief look thru I saw 2 things that stand out the most. 1) Uptime of necrotic plague needs to improve. You need to use festering strike more to keep up NP at least 95% of the time. Don't be afraid to use death runes on festering strike if keeps NP up as long as unholy blight isn't available. 2) you need to cast more soul reapers. This is THE top priority when boss/adds are at 45% or lower. That bonus damage is HUGE..like 50K huge. For example look at your NP uptime compaired to mine on beastlord. If I had your gear.....*sigh* https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/fGxqwCHJQWcLyXpF/ By the way my toon is Kaknsac :p Edited February 27, 2015 by Gazooten
drumsmani 47 Report post Posted February 27, 2015 I don't trust the uptime for NP as shown in AMR logs. It seems to take some weird average when more than 1 target is present in a fight. I compared logs for a Flamebendet kill on AMR vs WCL and NP uptime is shown as 40% vs 97%.

I really don't understand shouln't I drop stacks if my ub cd get off and reset them? Because I'm right now doing this way. Check my logs in wcl https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/PhpfGFv9cWbmrkAV#fight=7&type=damage-done&source=25 seems uptime kind normal.
