Mikar 2 Report post Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) Decent HS count, but your EF is super low. 8? yikes. Light of Dawn is a huge HPS loss. Try you hardest not to heal beacon targets unless it's absolutely necessary as that's also a HPS loss. Good idea to AW right after first raid wide damage. Make sure right after you AW that you prism and shock to get a fast cast radiance. Radiance is a HUGE mana drain obviously but if you get a fast cast or 2 in while AW is up it's not half bad. Holy avenger is a nice burst, but you should be rolling with sanctified as a staple unless otherwise designated by raid leader. Merciful wrath glyph. Get it All I got for now, when I have a bit more time I will take a more in depth look. Edited March 2, 2015 by Mikar
plusminus 14 Report post Posted March 3, 2015 Hi Mikar, Good day to you. Yeah I'm not very sure why I only cast EF 8 times. That terrible!. Maybe because Im spending my Holy Power for Light of Dawn. I always cast EF with 3 HP. What you mean "Light of Dawn is a huge HPS loss"?. Should I cast LoD more often or just keep it minimal and whenever required? I'm overhealing both beacon target (both tank and beacon stay with them for whole fight) because I want to add quite amnout absorb shield so they take less damage against inferno slice. My tanks did died several times before with inferno slice. Anyway Thanks for your feedback! Really appreciated it.
Mikar 2 Report post Posted March 3, 2015 (edited) Light of dawn, the amount of healing it does, will not compare to a 3 HP EF after full ticks. So, HPS loss. The only time I would recommend using it is in a SERIOUS emergency, and then radiance trumps. As for the over healing of beacon targets, again, HPS loss. I will use fake numbers of course to show you. You heal tank a for 10,000, tank b gets a 5,000 heal. That's 15,000 per cast. If you have beacon on both tanks and you heal rogue a for 10,000, each tank receives 5,000. SO that's 20,000. A gain of 5,000 So it's more effective for you to raid heal and only emergency heal tanks. I can appreciated the shield you wanna build, but since mastery has become less of a priority for us, the shield isn't anything spectacular. Something to that effect Also, Inferno should be externally CDed if the tanks have nothing themselves to reduce dmg as you spamming Holy light to build a shield doesn't work to well as every time the boss hits them, the shield is gone. You could never get full shield in time from the last melee swing of boss to the cast of inferno. run Clemency and just Hand of Sac every second slice. Mikar 2 Report post Posted March 3, 2015 So lets assume a base SP of 1000 to make it easy. a 3HP EP will heal rougly 1+3300 and 1+100*15 = 3301+1515 = 4816 [ 1 + 330% of Spell Power ] and an additional [ 1 + 10% of Spell Power ] every 2 sec for up to 30 sec So again, 1000 SP to make it easy. 3+(1000 x .735) = 738 x 6 = 4428. healing 6 injured allies within 30 yards for up to [ 3 + 73.5% of Spell Power ]. That's obviously super rough but you get the idea. The loss is minimal yes, but it's still a 400 HP healing loss. And again this is assuming that there is no over healing wasted. As well, our shield, make it a flat 10%, and it's higher as well as it not only applies on the initial hit of EF but each tick as well. The ticks from EF on other targets also heal your beaconed targets. Again, tiny amounts, but it all adds up :)
