Cheap Priest Wild

Recommended Posts

Ok, suggestions then for what to swap it? I was thinking 1 of these cards I own. Shrinmeister, silence, light of naru, injured kvaldir, shade of naxramas. Or any other suggestion in rare quality or below. I have 140 dust only atm.

Shrinkmeister is strong against midrange minions. Can be used here, especially if you have more proactive plays or a second Cabal. Light of Naaru is really strong. Although 3 health is not that much, it can be paired with hero power to heal total of 5HP + a 3/2 on the board. Add silence only if you think it would be helpful often. Kvaldir and Shade aren't that good in priest. I recommend disenchanting Injured Kvaldir. Zombie Chow is a "2/3" too, but doesn't deny a turn 2 play and can be used with Auchenai to deal 5 face damage.

My choice would be a Light of the Naaru.

OK, I agree now meta is fast but after about 30 games of experimentation made a deck that has 17 wins 1 loss in ladder 18 to 10 or so so far. Didn't realy change much tbh.

Main changes. To deal with early minions swapped 1x pyro for 1x unstable ghoul. Early taunt, fares better late, with lower potential to board wipe. Took out my kal'thuzad, emperor etc as they did not help me much on early and substituted for shadowboxer's. Added 2x valens chosen in stead of 1x cultists and 1x chow. I found that taking board early in 1st 4 turns then buffing your minnions fares much better then taking 10 or so damage before board clear due to fact that when I take board I want to heal minions foremost to make efficient trades and control board. Having 10 health disadvantage proved fatal rather often in traditional priest due to fact aggro managed to slip through eventualy. I feel like netdecking is not as great as I though as I need to adjust to game and how it's played very often. But sottle's decks are still great bases for your own start.

Ok, I know I could find it myself but could you list win condition legendary, that if leftunchecked for more then one turn can decide oponent. Ysera is main, deathwing too I guess. Any others? I know about our priest one too.

There are many legendaries that win you games by themselves. The most known ones are Boom, Ragnaros, Ysera, Confessor Paletress, or even a Hogger and Illidan. However, not every legendary fits the deck style and therefore not every legendary should be used in the deck.

Also, I see that you made the deck more anti-aggro, so I recommend playing Dragon Priest instead. Control Priest is stronger in a Control environment which is clearly not the meta you play in.

Would a second auchenai be good in this deck? (I replaced a spider tank with an earthen ring farseer)

Yes, it would. I would put in place of Yeti, Ogre or Farseer.

Would it be ok to replace boulderfist for kel'thuzad?

Yes, but if you play against aggro a lot, Ogre should stay.

You are playing it wrong. I managed to reach rank 16 back when I was a complete noob. Unless you give me additional information, I won't be able (and willing) to help you.

I am completely inexperienced at playing priest as I was lacking any real good advanced cards until 2 months ago when I got my first Inner Fire. Yesterday I crafted Auchenai Soulpriest, a second Temple Enforcer, a second Injured Blademaster and a second Wild Pyromancer. I gotta say I like this deck, forces you to think about possible plays and making tough calls on wether or not you really wanna play that card right now or wait later. That's something I didn't get to do a lot as I've been playing WAY more proactive decks for the past 2 years.

Anyway, I was wondering if it was a good idea to change the Yetis for Holy Champions or if it is too Aggro? Because Holy Champion DEMANDS to be removed a lot more than a yeti so it may not stick on the board as much and somewhat ruin the strategy. Although I really like that card and was wondering if you had any tips to make it work better.

It doesn't really matter which card out of these two you use. Use the one you like more.

Well, I understand they are relatively the same value in the deck, but since the guide talks more about how to play the cards mentionned in it, I would've liked some tips about what's different if I play Holy Champions instead of Yetis since they seem to play a different role.

The difference would be pretty much only when playing against priest. Instead of playing Holy Champion on turn 4 as a 3/5, play it on turn 6 as a 5/5 to bait SW:D and to "dodge" SW:P. Also, don't be too greedy. The buff is more of a bonus rather than win condition. If you have better plays that don't include hero power, feel free to play them.

Champion is a superior card if you have them.

Edit: I didn't notice I had the dust to spare under the 1000 budget to make that change, I will submit that change immediately.

I really think that maexxna is a good priest card to use instead of the boulderfist ogre but my question is if I am not losing my main finishing card... Also I want to use loatheb but I don't know what to get rid of. Any advices?

No, Maexxna is too slow and absolutely useless when silenced. She can also get stolen in a mirror matchup. And yes, you are losing a strong finisher.

Loatheb isn't important here. You won't flood the board with minions and will often have 1 or 2 minions on board by turn 5 and therefore you need no protection against AoE and spells.

I swap out some cards with Naxx cards like in the recommendation. I also swap cleric for farseer, Sylvanas for boulderfist orge.

should I swap any card for Kel'thuzad and Loatheb?

Hearthstone is taking a bold step into the StarCraft universe with "Heroes of StarCraft: The Great Dark Beyond," a 49-card mini-set launching in January 2025.
Featuring iconic factions like Zerg, Protoss, and Terran, complete with legendary leaders Sarah Kerrigan, Artanis, Jim Raynor, this set blends StarCraft nostalgia with Hearthstone's gameplay.
Additionally, Arena Mode is getting a massive overhaul, introducing shorter Normal Arena runs and a high-stakes Underground Arena with a game matching "re-draft on loss" mechanic, giving you the option to re-draft cards, edit your deck, and keep your run alive, after you lose.
The year ahead promises 3 expansions, including the Emerald Dream's battle between Old Gods and Druids, a return to Un'Goro Crater, and a Chromie-led journey through alternate realities.

Hearthstone: Heroes of StarCraft – The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set
Early next year, Hearthstone is going beyond Warcraft and into... Heroes of StarCraft! This special Mini-Set will have a whopping 49 new cards across three themed factions, which show what the StarCraft universe would look like in the Hearthstone Tavern. Each faction is made up of cards that can be used across multiple classes, including an iconic Hero card.
       Zerg
Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter, and Warlock have joined the Zerg! Led by the formidable  Sarah Kerrigan, they will have aggressive cards that win the game by swarming the board.
       Protoss
Druid, Mage, Priest, and Rogue fight for the Protoss Empire. Led by the High Templar Artanis, they will have powerful, high-cost cards that are made cheaper throughout the game.
       Terran
Paladin, Shaman, and Warrior make up the Terran forces, led by the one and only Jim Raynor. They will command Battlecruisers—a special take on the Starship mechanic from The Great Dark Beyond.
The Mini-Set will feature a slew of StarCraft units which are sure to invoke nostalgia, as well as the Terran-armored Murloc, Grunty, and new, thematic music. You can chart a course for the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set, launching in January 2025! More announcements, details, and card reveals are coming closer to launch.
       Major Arena Updates
Then, for the first time in 10 years, Arena Mode is getting a major overhaul. With that update, there will be two kinds of Arena to choose from. Normal Arena will be shorter form, allowing you to complete your runs more quickly. Competitive Arena players will be able to play in the higher-stakes Underground Arena, with longer runs and a new feature: Re-Draft on Loss. Re-Draft on Loss means that, after you lose, you’ll have the option to re-draft cards, edit your deck, and keep your run alive.
Ratings will also be added to both Normal and Underground Arena. Normal, skill-based matchmaking will be used for Normal Arena. Underground Arena throws caution to the wind and lets you face off against opponents of all skill levels.
This major Arena revamp is coming in the first half of next year. Look out for more details about this update closer to when it goes live.
A Preview of the Year Ahead: The Year of the Raptor!
On top of those updates, Hearthstone has an exciting year of expansions ahead, with much-requested themes, locations, and familiar faces across Azeroth.
In the first expansion of the year, enter the Emerald Dream and join the battle between the Old Gods and the Druids of the Emerald Dream for the fate of the World Tree. Things will heat up even more when the Druids of the Flame light up the Mini-Set (releasing earlier than normal this year, during the 32.2 Patch).
The second expansion of the year will be Hearthstone’s first-ever sequel: the return to Un’Goro Crater! Join Elise on a hunt for a mythical, lost Tortollan city. When you find it, join the Tortollans in a festival to celebrate the mighty dinosaurs of the crater in the 33.4 Mini-Set.
In the third expansion of the year, travel with Chromie through alternate realities to recruit Legendary Warcraft heroes like you’ve never seen them before. Leading to the 34.4 Mini-Set: an epic showdown against Murozond at the end of time!
