I'm so confused, which skill consumes wrath? Condemn doesn't use up any wrath..

Take a look at the shield.  The shield int he build turned Condemn's CD into wrath spender.  The sword makes it a good combo.  Both the sword and the shield, if you have them equipped, gives % condemn damages, so it's better to have them equip rather than cubed.  If your items of the sword/shield doesn't have +% damage to condemn, you may have an older version and need to get a new one.

Just curious about the priority of gemming in the pants and torso. Right now I have flawless rubys in all 5 slots. Should i be substituting some for diamonds? Otherwise its a great build thanks for posting !

I'd transition in a setup of 3 Rubies/2 Diamonds for moderately hard content, and full Diamonds when I try to push the build to its GR limits.

Hello, three questions:

1. Why use Mirinae, Teardrop of the Starweaver instead of Bane of the Powerful?

2. Why not recommend Holy Damage % on amulet before crit chance and damage ? If my theory crafting is any good, keeping in mind the build does "only" holy damage, 20% extra Holy damage translates directly into a 1.2 DMG coefficient which far exceeds the benefits of 10% crit or 100% crit dmg

3. If the above is correct, on bracers +% Holy becomes the single most important stat -> to be taken before all else.

Thank you!

Hello!

Mirinae was recommended as means to combat the poor sustain of the build, as well as for its elementally synergistic damage proc. Bane of the Powerful remains a viable alternative if you feel your sustain is at a good place.

Due to the damage sources interact in D3 (their separation into categories additive within themselves, and some categories being larger than others) Holy damage is not always better than Crit stats - though cases exist depending on gear balance! I highly recommend inputting your gear and making a personalized choice. Or you can use this as an example: http://www.d3planner.com/112715325, and adjust stats around to see their influence!

Weapon

  1. Socket (preferably from consumable_add_sockets_1_demonhunter_malRamaladni's Gift)
  2. Weapon Damage
  3. Strength
  1. Cooldown Reduction
  2. x1_crusader_condemn.pngCondemn %

Hi,

i'm trying out this guide and i was wondering if this might be missing + 10% Damage as a priority for the weapon or if there is another stat that i am not seeing.

Cheers

Hello! The priority simply lists obtaining a socket, high base weapon damage, Strength, CDR and a high Condemn % roll as priority. If I were to list a 6th, it would probably be Area damage, and % damage as 7th.

I'm looking at the Stat Priorities in gear slots for Weapon specifically.  It says to prioritize "damage". Is he talking about the stat that says +6-10% damage or the stat that says +1177-1788 Damage?

My weapon rolled with arcane damage, is he saying to reroll that for for basic non-elemental damage, or to re roll it for the percent damage?

Heya, in this specific case I'm referencing the weapon damage range (the XXXX - XXXX numbers). It is only desirable to have a high range, do not worry about a specific elemental damage range type.

As for potions, I prefer the Bottomless Potion of Diamond for Strength classes, to balance out their naturally high Armor with a spike of All Resistance. Potions rarely make a meaningful difference though.

On the question of viability, I'm certain the build is capable of breaking GR80+.

First off I'm new to diablo. So this is the first build I completed, I was power lvled by my friends and learned the game after I was lvl 70.

The highest grift  I can push is 55 solo

I have all the pieces recommended in the build aside from my furnace in the cube

Paper Damage - 580k

Paper Toughness  25m ( 55m while in Akarats Champion)

My CDR is at 56%

Only have one ancient (weapon)

Also most importantly a lot of my gear could be rolled better.

Edit----I'm paragon 410

You might want to update the build as it is still has Taeguk as a gem choice. With the changes to it being only useful for channeling it's no longer viable as a gem.

Hello,

Where do you see me asking for help? I was replying to another post asking how far everyone has been able to push the crusader condemn build, but thanks for your input.

Maybe since you are from France, english is not your first language but I urge you to READ what I wrote. Again thanks for your input although nobody asked....

I have been using this build for a really long time and have used this page to help me hone it so first of all a massive thanks for the great tips! Despite loving the play style I found the damage a bit lack luster but only recently discovered the shield and sword were reworked to give a massive total of 300% more damage to condemn! I reforged both and now am easily clearing rank 55 greater rifts in about 5-6 minutes so looking forward to seeing just how far I can push this build!

So just to clarify, to do this build you need the shield from season 1, which means if you didn't get that shield in season 1 this build is completely useless (ie you are limited to 1 condemn per 15 seconds)?

The shield is available in the normal game now.  It may have been a seasonal drop to begin with (I don't remember) but either way, the seasonal items are added to the full game once the season is over.  I got my Frydehr's WrathFrydehr's Wrath just a couple months ago.

You're welcome!

It's funny--in the three days since I posted that, I've had 4 or 5 more of those shields drop.  Granted, I've never played a crusader much before, so maybe it's just a really common shield and I don't know it.  But it made me laugh... :D

Hi Deadset!

Condemn is my favorite skill since the first time playing crusader. I've collected the gear requirement for this build, but I'm using Leoric Crown in the cube instead of the recomended Illusory boots because I need the Leoric Crown to reach permanent Akarat Champion up time.

However I just managed to clear GR 65 with 3 minutes left. Toughness is my biggest issue, I died 2 times on GR 65. My health after investing 120 paragon point on Vitality is 700K.

Please help me improve, I want to push to GR 75 with this build. Here is my character : http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Davez-6828/hero/72612118

PS : The cube power is still not updated. I use Furnace, Leoric and unity in the cube.

Blizzard has posted an official preview of Diablo 3's upcoming Season 34 that starts on January 24!
The ongoing Season 33 ends on January 19. Season 34 reintroduces the Light's Calling Season theme, which means players can obtain Angelic Crucibles, consumables that may be used to Sanctify any Legendary item, infusing it randomly with one of three new class-specific powers. Cosmetic rewards for the patch are as follows:
Completing the Season 34 Guarian journey grants the Book of Cain pet and the Lost Civilization Portrait Frame.
Haedrig's Gift will award you with the following sets in Season 34:
Barbarian - Horde of the Ninety Savages Crusader - Aegis of Valor Demon Hunter - Gears of Dreadlands Monk - Patterns of Justice Witch Doctor - Mundunugu’s Regalia Wizard - Typhon’s Veil Necromancer - Masquerade of the Burning Carnival For more information about Season 34, check out the official blog post below.

Looking to turn the tide of an unremitting war between light and darkness, the Angels of the High Heavens have embedded a token of their righteousness in Sanctuary. Cunning Nephalem seeking an advantage in combat will undergo an angelic trial, crystallizing a symbol of their morality into pure, otherworldly perfection. The specific celestial force imbued within by the divine is unknown—an answer waiting to be sought on the battlefield. Go forth, Nephalem!
Season 34 reintroduces Light’s Calling. Valiant Nephalem who recover Angelic Crucibles, a new consumable item, may use them to Sanctify any equippable Legendary item, infusing it with one of three new class-specific powers at random. We wanted to use Angelic Crucibles to lean into the expertise of each class, further exemplifying its respective prowess, but through a nuanced lens. The High Heavens are home to ethereal splendor, bursting with boundless radiance—we wanted to provide players with a taste of untainted power as doled out from Heaven itself.

It seems something went very wrong with Season 33, as it it just... ended a while ago. Players took to the forums as there was no early warning, other than a server message around an hour before it all ended. PezRadar responded clarifying that this is not intended and that Blizzard are looking into what happened.
      Season End (Source)
Heard and got some pings while I’ve been out and I have production checking on this early end. This shouldn’t have ended today so something is funky. Will provide an update once I hear back.

Let’s see what the demons say when you fight side by side with your own shadow! Shadows of the Past: Activating a Shrine/Pylon will spawn in a shadow clone of your class, who will come with a randomly chosen 1 of 3 predetermined builds. This clone's power will scale with your character and will last for 1 minute (unless your character dies). See this article for the shadow clone variations that can spawn when activating. Kanai’s Cube: Kanai’s Cube will have a fourth slot this season. This fourth slot will have the choices of the first 3 slots but will not stack with any of them, providing additional flexibility to your build. Return to Top Season Cosmetic Rewards
Beginning with Season 17, we began re-introducing previous Seasonal rewards to make them available to any who may have missed them the first time around. For Season 33, this means awards originally available from Season 9 are returning to the Season Journey. However, we know it’s nice to have something new to aim for if you’ve already participated in previous Seasons. We’re continuing to provide new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17, with two new cosmetic rewards for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. Prove your worth in the Trial of Tempests to earn the Stupendous Contraption pet and the Industrial Portrait Frame.
In addition to the Chest and Gloves slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, you’ll be able to earn the Pandemonium portraits, and the cute and craggily Rocky pet first introduced in Season 9. Return to Top Season Journey Rewards
If you’ve been diligently slaying demons before and reached Conqueror in the Season Journey each time, you’ve surely accrued a few extra stash tabs. Want to prepare your Conquest plan for Season 33? Here are the challenges you’ll face: For Curses!/Stars Align, pick any Cursed Chest event that requires killing monsters and defeat over 350 or more at level 70 on Torment X or higher. Also returning for Season 33 is Sprinter/Speed Racer, where you’re challenged to complete the entire Diablo III campaign from Act I to Act V at Level 70 in under an hour! Next is Avarice/Avaritia, where all that glitters is gold—that is, if you can complete a 50 million Gold streak outside of The Vault or its Inner Sanctum. We're also bringing Thrill/Superhuman, which requires completion of a Greater Rift Level 45—solo and without any Set items equipped. And lastly we'll be bringing back Speed Demon/Need for Speed, meaning you'll need to beat a Torment X Nephalem Rift at Level 70 in 2 minutes. Best of luck! Return to Top Haedrig’s Gift
Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below.
