[Arms dps]Not happy with my Warrior dps

Good day all,

 

I've been lurking around this forum for awhile now reading all the posts of others people asking for help on their rotation and find that the feedbacks are often helpful and accurate.

 

I thought maybe i could get some insight on how i can improve and also find out what i have been doing wrong.

 

I have 3 pieces of Tier gear, where the 3rd piece is a normal shoulder, but i do not use it as 3 pieces doesnt give any extra set benefits.

 

The armory as time of post shows my gear in fury, i was just messing around on dummy last night as fury spec however arms gear is exactly the same except for i use thogar's rod.

I do have some pretty decent parses where i am at the 80 percentile but not sure why i have dropped from there since then.

As of this point I haven't had the opportunity to review your full post. I'll get to that later in the week (as I'm currently during the midst of my work week).

 

I'll post, quickly, on this though; You most likely drop from parses simply because people get better gear and reparse. That would be my first guess as opposed to you having rotation / class problems with your Warrior.

To be completely honest your DPS isn't bad by any means.

After the Execute nerf a lot of warriors have been favouring Fury where they would spec Arms before.

For as far as I can see your dps would increase on a lot of fights if less people in your group would cleave allowing your bladestorm to do more damage but that's not really something you can ask of your guild in most cases.

On operator for example you're cleaving together with 3 hunters, a warlock and ret paladins so obviously bladestorm won't give you mongo DPS in a composition like that :P

 

A better trinket would help you as well but honestly you're doing quite well in for as far as I can see.

Thank you two for the feedback, i thought i was doing my rotations terribly wrong. Glad to know its not the case.

 

I read some similar posts made by other fellow warriors and learnt to squeeze in as much executes as i can during CS uptime during exe phase. It seems to help, i guess whats remaining is just mechanics part where i do stand in stuff i should not.
