Blackhand Stands Jump

I can't for the life of me get the phase 1->2 transition stands jump. Here's the method I've been told:

1. Stand on the east edge of the ring in the phase 1 room shortly before transition. 
2. Take the fall and blow demonic leap into the east stands as you fall. 

I can't land it after 10 attempts. My timing must be off. I think I need to see someone do it, has anyone filmed it as a lock?

Never tried myself but do you have Falling Meteor glyphed? I've read that will make it not work.

1. Stand on the WEST edge of the ring in the phase 1 room shortly before transition. You can put your teleport there to make sure you get there in time if you weren't paying attention to boss' health. The fall throws you through the center into EAST, where you want to leap because the 1st wave of adds spawns there. And yes, don't use the glyph.

There are 4 banners up on the wall in the P1 chamber. You want to stand under the leftmost banner when viewing from the entrance to the room. This ensures that you will fall along the opposite side of the room, which is where the first batch of mobs spawns. Then, as was already mentioned, you just demonic leap in the direction of the stands when you are reasonably high above them. Worry not if it seems that you bumped into an invisible texture - you keep your momentum and continue to slide along it all the way to the stand itself.

You can do it with the glyph but its very tricky and unreliable. Just unglyph it to be safe, works alot more reliable that way.

Standing on the same point but waiting a bit longer. When you fall down your camera (read: mine) gets annoyed by the second broken floor. Just after my camera goes back to normal I use my leap and it works most of the times. I dont know if I make any sense to anyone else. Its hard to explain I guess but I think its waiting a bit longer.
