heya I've got 3 trinkets

 

(ilvl 700): Humming Blackiron Trigger

(ilvl 685): Meaty Dragonspine Trophy with Socket

(ilvl 685): Beating Heart of the Mountain

 

Using the Humming Blackiron Trigger is a given, but I don't know which trinket I should use in the second spot
 

I thought about using Humming Black Iron Trigger + Beating Heart of the Mountain for Single Target and Humming Blackiron Trigger with the Meaty Dragonspine Trophy for Multitarget

Single Target (Zen Sphere + Chi Brew + Serenity)

 

Sustained 3 Target AoE (Chi Burst + Ascension + ChiX)

 

Sustained 2 Target AoE (Chi Burst + Ascension + ChiX)

Your assumption is correct. Trigger -> ST, Dragonspine -> AoE

No Beating Heart is your best trinket.

You just wouldn't use the Dragonspine because multistrike is way way way way way way too good and haste is meh outside of sustained AoE

I don't really understand what you wanted to tell me with that sentence,

 

I didn't want to use the dragonspine on ST, my question to your post was, why should I use the Beating Heart of the Mountain (it's ilvl 685) and not the Trigger (while it's ilvl 700).

 

the trigger has 104 agi more than the beating heart of the mountain. wouldn't that mean a dps increase in both aoe and st?

I'm saying that the dragonspine you have is too low ilvl to use.

 

You would not change trinkets on a spec to spec basis because Beating Heart is better than Dragonspine in all situations. And Trigger is better because high ilvl.

 

TL;DR just use Trigger / Beating Heart for everything and trash your Dragonspine.
