cmpunk 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2015 Hey guys, i've been on a few forums and I can't seem to find an updated guide on how to play destruction for challenge modes. I'm sort of confused particularly with what spec to run for getting strong single target DPS for destruction as I am playing demonology for AoE packs and thinking of respeccing to a single target destruction spec for bosses. Hope someone could provide me with some up to date resources with some more detailed guides for CMs specifically. As I mentioned, I've been through some of the threads here but some of them seem slightly dated or lack detailed information. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Soulzar 42 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 Swapping between Demo AoE and Destro ST likely would not be a good change, as one of Locks main strengths in this type of content is the ability to pull bosses with pooled resources. If you swap from Demo to Destro, your starting with one ember instead of 4, or 200 fury instead of 1000. I want to tell you that Destro/Cata Destro/Servitude is still your best combo, but to be honest I really do not know how the RoF nerf affected CMs. With your gear scaled back your mastery probably won't support CR and with the larger pulls Cata is the bread and butter of a locks roll.
