Just got Blackiron Micro Crucible from a mythic cache, so now I have to replace either Darmac's Unstable Talisman or Goren Soul Repository (all as linked). I simmed them with BMC/DUT coming out slightly ahead of BMC/GSC, but I'd like to get the opinions of some seasoned veterans on the matter. wat do Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
spikeysquad 50 Report post Posted May 7, 2015 (edited) Not seasoned but having played around with a combination of all 3 personally I would pick BMC and GSR. I really like having 2 trinkets to dump on and I feel that I have enough fury already therefore not wanting the DuT proc. GSR: + 50 Mastery DuT: + 19 Int (and a larger haste proc) When I simmed a week ago mastery was coming out at 0.61 compared to standardised Intellect 1.0 so again the GSR is also worth a lot more for my stats (according to Simcraft) and in my opinion. You are so lucky with your gems and WFs! P.S. It's early so check my figures. P.P.S. We are talking for Demo (or Destro) right? HeadBeeGuy 11 Report post Posted May 7, 2015 Yes, this is for Demo. When I simmed last night DUT was only coming out around 200 dps ahead, so I was just wondering which "felt" better, so to speak. I've had at least a 670 DUT since I started more seriously raiding, so I was unsure what fury generation would be like without the haste proc, but I do like the idea of having two trinkets to burn with. As for luck, I was using a 655 Imperator trinket and 670 DUT for weeks before deciding to burn through all my mats and primals to make the 685 alchemy trinket. The next raid night I won the HWF DUT, then we went to Oregorger and two GSRs dropped. I got the highest roll but several others needed it and I had already won a trinket so I gave it to someone else, only to coin one with a socket. RNG is RNG, I suppose.
