This is my pre-Cata UI, but it hasn't changed much since.

I did make the UI myself and decided that MSBT was more of a distraction than a help. Compared to other UI's, I didn't feel like I was losing much space (it's a 1920x1080 screen so really only losing a chunk at the bottom). The glowy frames are Sunn Art (static image) and I no longer use it. (I had performance issues on an early cata patch and just quit using it.) I also quit using MSBT because it really wasn't providing me info that was helpful. I traded out EBB for Raven and streamlined the way my buffs look. In general, I have streamlined and compacted down my UI, since that screenshot, but overall it hasn't changed much. I'll post an updated screenshot if i can remember next week.

plusminus, Vladamyr, these are really nice UIs. I actually envy you. One reason I started using ElvUI is because I just couldn't manage to build myself a good looking UI :P

Thanks Mork. I agree, way too much stuff going on in the first one. I left my carbonite open for the screenshot but normally the quest helper is minimized and the map is 1 click to hide. So it's even a little more clean.

I've actually been looking into Elv as well, but honestly a little overwhelmed. Would I lose out on anything the default UI might give me if I use Elv's edit?

As far as I know the only things that Elv will take away from your current UI are some aspects of your current addons. It seems to do everything that the standard UI does plus quite a lot more. When you first install it I would recommend not loading your other addons and spend an hour or two just playing around with everyhting that Elvui does so you can get the hang of it.

Also the forums at Elv are quite active and if you search for any questions you have you should be able to find all your answers in there.

I agree. I installed ElvUI for the Beta and was pleasantly surprised. I also found out that it is very customisable after installing. I would also recommend just starting up with ElvUI, and then adding addons that you miss.

This is taken few mins aggo, on 5.0.4, so i will prolly keep it also when MoP hits live.

Player and Player Aura bars, Target and Target Aura Bars and ToT Frames are auto hidden outside the combat. My Raid is set between Player and Targets Aura Bars anchored on top of Action Bars.

I disabled Target Buffs frame, since i dont really need them as healer.

Thats out of Combat showing the TellMeWhen icons I use. The row on the left is 2 groups. The bottom icon is a single icon that shows the duration of sacrifice. Will probably get rid of it now that blizzard have made it 1 hour instead of 20 minutes (yaaay hotfix).

The 4 icons above it are (top to bottom)

1. Dark Soul: misery Simply pops up when DS:M is off cooldown.

2. Grimoire of Sacrifice. Pops up if I am in combat and still have a living minion

3. Meta icon - this is where icons 1,2 and 4 actually SHOW - they dont show in the place you see them on-screen, but show on the 'eye' icon position.

4. Molten Core - pops up when I get an MC proc.

The 2 icons in the middle of the screen:

Top one only shows if I dont have a spellpower buff

bottom one pops up when I get a nightfall proc.

The 3 to the right of my actionbars are just notifications that I have a trinket/enchant proc.

Heres a shot of it in combat:

The actionbars may look a little 'Odd' to most people, but I set tyhem up that way because I use a Razer Nostromo and the middle bar (2 rows of 4 and a row of 3) is set up exactly how the spells are on the Nostromo.

It isnt updated on Curse anymore. ElvUI and Tukui have their own site now:

register on the site and download the CLIENT, not the addon itself. In the client, select ElvUI from the dropdown and hit install. It will automatically check for updates and you can install them from the client

Its latest version of Elv UI with Elv UI HUD (player, target, tot and pet pars Hud bars) with moved anchors for aura bars.

Anyhow, Elv UI is now highly customizable (one of most customizable UIs that i ever saw) and thre is a lot addons written by people on TukUI forums that help you specialize your UI.

Elv UI HUD is still in developments and addon author is really supportive and helpful, fixing bugs in shortest possible time. I suggest you, if you want to try it, use Official Addon page on TukUI since its frequently updated with githubs builds.

About wide open screen.. Yea.. I like it clean and minimal, but yet to display as much info as i need. Being Holy/prot Pala, Fury/prot warr or Resto/Enhance shammy, i dont really need so much stuff.

You are better off downloading it directly from the ElvUi website as i don't think they update the curse version anymore. Just search for "download ElvUi" and you should be able to find it Ok

Just download via the TukUI website (TukUI.org), under Projects>ElvUI you can download the latest version.

Here's mine. I got Elv on everyone's suggestion, but honestly finding a lot of problems with it. Stancebar is broken when I switch talents and I don't have nearly enough button space as the standard. Other then that it's nice...Just feels like it's cheating even though I can't really stand how the basic UI looks lol

I have no issues with stance bar, but i have some minor issues related to chat and Dual Profiles option.

You said that you have little button space? Click on "c" below minimap, that will bring up Elv UI confing menu, go under action bars and add more.

With default settings, from what i see your using them, full action bar 1 (bottom) and action bar 4 (right side) are shown, action bar 2 and 3 ( on each side of action bar 1) are only displaying 6 buttons (out of 12 possible) and there is also 1 or 2 action bars completely disabled.

If you want to move something, again press "c" and click "toggle Anchors" and new mini option will show with HUD grid, choose "all" and you will be able to move any element your want.

It just taking some time to get used to it. Currently Elv is working on preparing for MoP release, so hes ironing out some bugs, but also working on new version.

Aha, thanks. I just couldn't figure out how to get more, so I left it default. Hope I don't have to move stuff too much, though. I suck at rearranging things and I'm sort of a perfectionist about the UI. xD
