Stunlocked 8 Report post Posted June 27, 2015 Hello, I know early in the expansion the common wisdom was that Shadowburn was only worth doing in cleave situations (or in high movement) - on single targets Chaos Bolt almost always did more damage. I think in part that was because Shadowburn wouldn't crit very often. While there hasn't been any change to the mechanics of how Destruction works - I'm wondering if that is still the case now that we have better gear (maybe Charred Remains plays a role too). Liquidsteel 279 Report post Posted June 27, 2015 Mana issues were a problem early on, when Charred Remains wasn't in the picture. That and what you said, Chaos Bolt averaged more damage. Shadowburn become useful again ST with Charred Remains, but once you get the T18 2pc it will be no contest once again. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
