Lost 5 ranks with Legendary Mage Fatigue - What am I doing wrong?!

I recently switched from the cheap deck, that I got to rank 15 with, to the legendary mage fatigue.

 

It's fun when I can stay in control, but all too often I get slammed down with damage that I can't outheal - I constantly encounter situations I would have perfect responses to should I have the cards in my hand, or more mana - but I seldom do.

 

I've lost my way all the way down to rank 18. And I'm feeling really fed up and like I've wasted all that dust. It's going to be a very long time before I can get that much again.

 

I'm sorry if this sounds whiny. I get salty about this game when I shouldn't - and I feel like I've wasted 3k dust. I'm frustrated and I feel like giving up.

One of the most common issues might be that you are doing the wrong mulligans( choosing cards at the start of a match). Personally i have not played alot of Fatigue mage, but showing your list would be nice.

In the comment thread for that specific deck in the Guide Comments section, another player posted videos of himself playing the deck and I pointed out numerous misplays that he was making, go ahead and check those out, they may prove helpful to you as well.
