nicarlitos 13 Report post Posted July 16, 2015 Loot- personal vs group I don't really understand which is best now. For us, doing full guild runs with 12-14 people at 9/13 normal progression, I think group is best. We're all pretty much at the ilvl of the instance, so group loot helps avoid wastage. Personal loot is supposed to grant more loot, but what's the point if it's wasted? I'm told personal loot gives a 25% chance of granting loot per person. I can't seem to find that stat anywhere to verify though. Is that really much more on average than group loot anyway? When we switch to heroics and everything is an upgrade pretty much guaranteed, then more loot is clearly better. Anyway, any thoughts appreciated. Pandacho 286 Report post Posted July 17, 2015 We are using personal loot on the start of progression when almost every new piece people get, would be used. After 2-4 weeks we are switching to the master loot because the chance to get once more a piece that you already have, grows higher with every kill. So, I would say that it's better to have a possibility to redistribute the loot without stacking in the situation when half of the raid has to disenchant 'useless' gear that other half of the raid desperately needs.
