For the Ranger talent at lvl 1, do we have any indicator of the range at which the bonus damage will reach its maximum value?

Didn't notice any indicator. From testing, it is about half of the Test room length, though I guess that does not really say much.

One question if you tallents into Mark of mending will tracer ( hits 20 times per clip ) heal 60% if she hits a hero affected by  D per clip? Itd be the best super-friendship-combo-(of-friendship) the Nexus has ever seen :P

Yeah, it should heal Tracer for 60%. It's amazing indeed, having pretty much infinite HP as long as Hunter's MarkHunter's Mark is up.

The level 7 talent comment for Trueshot AuraTrueshot Aura talks about how the other two talents are disappointing, but now Darnassian ArcheryDarnassian Archery is recommended, so this isn't the case now.

The level 20 talent Eyes of the HuntressEyes of the Huntress has the comment say it has a 28 second cd, when it is 20 seconds.

Also wrong cool down is mentioned for Elune's ChosenElune's Chosen. Kendric takes ages to update anything lately (several months, even), so I apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. We also deeply appreciate your effort to improve our guides.

mmh, Since Tyrande is my main i can say that lvl 7 huntress's fury is not so bad if you build mark lvl 1 expecially against melee compositions, i would tip you to change it to situational

( the splash radius is acceptable and allow Tyrande to clear camps very fast alone )

Am I completely insane or is Hunter's Mark range lower than Lunar Flare? Because the description says they have the same range, I might be incorrect about this, but it felt to me like it was shorter.

HotsLogs (filtering for Master rank only) recommends a Sentinel build (something like this). What do you guys think about it? I'm pretty new to the game, but I've been trying it out and it seems nice. How does it compare to a Lunar Flare or autoattack, from more experienced players?

Builds section of HotS Logs is fairly useless. It usually has small sample, which happens in this case. RangerRanger is too unreliable, and has little to no impact in team fights. Even with Darnassian ArcheryDarnassian ArcheryElune's ChosenElune's Chosen does not heal enough.

I'd say it is a fun build to mess with in QM, at the very least. It is very fun once you reach over 40 stacks of RangerRanger.

Yeah, I got hit with a 60-stack once, and it took down half of my HP (which was quickly healed up again thanks to Morales). However, I have been hit from afar only once during the game, so as I said, too unreliable to be competitive.

So, apparently they added a RangerRanger build and removed the Hunter's MarkHunter's Mark one from an edit yesterday.

 

Are the builds here directed to tournament play, to casual players, to high level play? I found positiv2's comment on being inconsistent, therefore not competitive, to be very logical.

Also, do we get any "patch notes" for builds? e.g. removed build X because it was lacking, added build Y because it has been played on higher tiers since tournament Z.

From what I have seen so far, Straften and Micekrispies usually make builds that are aimed at the silver/gold league level of play (easier to play, yet well refined), Oxy for all levels of play and Kendric adds builds mainly from Grandmaster, including this one, which I believe is not the best approach. So, the answer is that it depends on the guide author, but the Silver area is the main focus.

If I take a look at the talent's statistics, it has sub 40% win rate at Gold or lower, but has 55% win rate in Master, where players are able to predict enemy movement quite well. Because our readers are rarely Master+, I would recommend using the Lunar Blaze build. 

Hunter's MarkHunter's Mark build has fallen out of favour in all levels of play because the meta has shifted from AAs to spell damage. As for Owl build, it became popular at the highest levels of play, though not sure why (likely because of EmpowerEmpower buff).

I will ask the authors to mention build changes in the change log. Thanks for the suggestion!

Have you guys tried on Huntress' Fury on vehicles or bosses? The thing is insane against heroes that clump around them. You can get 1,000 dps against an enemy team with no danger to yourself.

You should reconsider talents, HotsLogs points out that Owl quest and CDR have 46-47% winrate, AA range on 20 has highest winrate and at 13 movement speed is at 58% winrate.

Wanna point out that in the analysis of Celestial WrathCelestial Wrath, you say that there's a 25% damage amplification - her rework has lowered this to 15%, no?

Please check that.

Assuming you mean Huntress' FuryHuntress' Fury, it has both effects - it increases both cast range and duration.
