Tranquil Rage is a competitive group of mature gamers/friends who have come together to form a late night, 25 man raiding Guild on Area 52, Horde Faction. We offer a fully functional Guild website, Teamspeak server, a competitive yet laid back atmosphere, superior Guild organization to most that you would find in a newly formed three day a week raiding Guild, and a proven leadership structure of experienced MMO gamers who have been building both Guilds, and gaming communities for the last 4+ years. We are looking for raid progression focused players to join us in our pursuit of conquest of the end game PvE that WoW has to offer. Specifically, we are looking for the not-so-average raider who is only able to raid in the late evenings due to real life conflicts, who is looking to progress in raiding when they ARE able to play.

 

We raid Wednesday/Thursday/Friday from 1:00AM – 4:00AM (5:00AM on Friday) server time (EST), a three day a week schedule. We ask only that applicants have some kind of raiding experience (in any game), a required item level of 650 (ilvl 650, this may be flexible depending on the applicant and their interview), a positive attitude with a willingness to learn/take/give criticism and feedback on play, and a desire to PLAY the game and have near perfect attendance to raids. We do require members put in an application and undergo a light interview with our Leaders, as we won’t ever force our members to play with the trolls/an immature crowd of gamers, everyone will be vetted in the same way. About Us:

Tranquil Rage is a guild created by two  friends to become a casual-competitive, tit nit community of raiders. Tranquil Rage is mainly a PvE raid focused guild, however we do participate in and organize PvP, achievement hunting, transmog runs, material farming, etc. during the off days of the week. Our goals are to dominate as a guild in raiding for three nights a week, help further the individual goals of our members by providing a competitive and friendly atmosphere, and help further the long term goals of the Guild as a whole by studying and creating metas to complete and progress in a raid setting. We are an organized, team-oriented guild that has just begun our infancy, but set our goals high as we prepare for our first steps. We offer our members a fully functional webpage (Enjin) including forums, Teamspeak, and a well-organized and structured community.  We aim to create a solid core of roughly 25 individuals who have guaranteed spots every raid night; you will not be recruited to sit on the bench!

 

We put a lot of attention and focus into competitive play, and making our members stronger both individually as well as in a team. In the past and present our leadership has been mostly hardcore and or semi-hardcore players in the PvP and PvE area of gaming in general, but this Guild while being 'semi-hardcore' in nature, will always be family/work/real life first oriented. For the three nights a week we raid, we will play hard and work to achieve our goals, and have tons of fun doing it. In our off time, we will play together and find many things to do as a Guild that won’t require any type of hardcore mindset or play style. No matter if you are a 20 something year old college student or well into your later years with kids, wives, and lots of responsibilities, there will be a place for you here so long as you have the desire to play, the desire to become better and grow,  and meet attendance standards. Tranquil Rage is a community, and regardless of our label, we will always strive to be a core group of friends first.

 

Schedule/Attendance:

 

We play hard, but not so hard as to strain our members and burn people out.  Tranquil Rage will stick to a strict three nights a week raiding schedule, raiding between 3-4 hours a night. We will always start on time and end on time, even if we wipe on a boss at 1% during the last minute of our schedule (unless ALL members agree on one last pull). Our raid schedule is as follows:

 

Wednesday – (Server Time, EST) 1:00 AM – 4:00 AM

 

Thursday – (Server Time, EST) 1:00 AM – 4:00 AM

 

Friday – (Server Time, EST) 1:00 AM – 5:00 AM

 

The biggest focus of our Guild is attendance; we want you to enjoy the game enough to actually PLAY and be active. Attendance is huge to us, and we expect you as an applicant and member to be at our raid evenings unless otherwise informing us of your absence. Real life obligations will ALWAYS come first, but we aren’t looking for players who will only be playing with us one day a week each week; we have a very limited schedule that we believe is very manageable for a late night player. I will always look for and accept a player who is able to attend raids and learn/become better over time than a great player who is never around.

 

Guild events will also be held throughout the rest of the week, including alt raiding nights, achievement hunting, transmog runs, legacy raids, etc. that will NOT be mandatory nor obligatory to members, but will just be fun things to do together on our off nights that we play.
 

Members: Members should be respectful of all, friendly, social, helpful, and have a sense of humor:

- Must be able to attend our scheduled raid evenings unless pre-approved by a Guild Master, attendance is our NUMBER ONE FOCUS!

- Must have thick skin.
- Devoted to one guild/organization, this is not a place to park alts, you're either "all in" or you're not.
- 20 year old age limit, with special case by case exceptions from staff members.
- Your actions reflect on the guild/organization as a whole, keep that in mind.
- Must have a working microphone and Teamspeak.
- Be able to work as a team and follow directions.

- Must not start, promote, or encourage drama within the game, Teamspeak, or the Guild in general.

- Aspiring recruits will both apply for the Guild, and be given a light interview before approval as a member. We do both application and interview processes to weed out the fair-weather players who most likely wouldn’t stick around or treat the Guild as a loot machine! We will not be a Guild to allow every applicant to enter, and will make sure that every member’s personalities and schedules are in line with our own. We take pride in our community and just as you went through this process, you’ll know that every other member was vetted just as much, including friends/family of other Guild members!

 

Loot:

 

Loot will be distributed via a Guild DKP system that will take into account a variety of factors, that majority being attendance. The more you show up and raid, the more DKP you will have to bid on loot. Again, attendance and actually showing up to raids is our number one priority! We want you to play and improve and grow with us as a Guild!
