It's entirely possible that it is a playstyle difference. They value the damage over the survivability since they have the ability to survive without the extra pieces. Also remember that many of the top monks most likely have much better gear than we do. 

You also have to remember the Paragon level of those top monks. How are they distributing points?

Hello! What you are looking at is a slight modification of the build made solely for groups; none of the soloing Monks use Eye of Peshkov. The reason why Monks can afford to use a squishy EoP setup in groups is due to the presence of support teammates, where a support Monk and a support Barb take care of adding tankyness to the group, crowd controlling enemies, etc.

Thanks Blainie and Deadset for clarifying this.

Now i'm fine with my gr 81 clear, as i know i'm just doing my best. Maybe gr82 will be possible for me until the end of season 7 as there isn't that much time left. :/

What do you mean? I've just tested it in game and I can set all of the skills exactly as Deadset has listed.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but why isn't Hunter's Wrath an autoinclude Belt for this build? It gives 30% AS and 60% damage plus can roll 4 tanky stats on top of that.

Edit: And I just checked it in-game and it's DH only. Guess that explains that.

I've found that wind force flurry does the best damage when I was messing around with d3planner, mangle was at 4th, hands of lightning, and searing grasp are above mangle too. This is for when you're fighting one enemy.

I've tried this build multiple times even most recently with almost full ancient gear and... im still at a loss HOW is this better than the inna generator variant? i feel i kill faster,have MUUUUCH better survivability, am not constantly spirit starved, and while i feel without a 2nd ancient weapon i wont pass 75(currently 74 is my record) i didnt feel 6pc raiment did more damage or even as much. so i figured id ask someone how/why it shines since i just had to completely abandon a 70GR with it whereas i can consistently clear it with the inna in roughly 10 minutes a run.

Because of how they work - you use Crippling Wave to actual dish out damage. You use WotHF to trigger and maintain the buff that grants you bonus damage based on number of enemies hit. You could engage a group of 10 enemies, use WotHF to give you +50% damage and then use CW to kill them.

There is an option called Elective Mode for skills, found by going to Options > Gameplay.  This allows you to equip any ability on any action slot (1, 2, 3, 4, LMB, and RMB) so long as it is not mutually exclusive with other skills (think: Monk Mantras, which are explicitly 1 active).

Any tips on improving? Not sure about this breakpoint thing; Did some research on it but don't fully understand it. I'm missing some ancient items, working on getting those. Currently at GR80.

You have no AD. Get some of it on shoulders.

You're also putting too much focus on cdr, you really only need 8% on shoulders and a diamond in the head.

Finally use witching hour, string of ears is basically for HC players only.

Also IMO blinding speed is way better than radiance.

      The ongoing Season 33 ends on January 19. Season 34 reintroduces the Light's Calling Season theme, which means players can obtain Angelic Crucibles, consumables that may be used to Sanctify any Legendary item, infusing it randomly with one of three new class-specific powers.       Season 34 reintroduces Light’s Calling.       Season Cosmetic Rewards
      In Season 34, awards originally available from Season 10 are returning. In addition to the Head and Shoulder slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, you’ll be able to earn the Black Soulstone themed portraits and the scholarly Loremaster pennant first introduced in Season 10.

      However, we know it’s nice to have something new to aim for if you’ve participated in previous Seasons. We’re continuing to provide new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17, with two new cosmetic ones for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. Prove your worth alongside the Shades of the Nephalem and complete the Season 34 Guardian Journey to earn the Book of Cain pet and the Lost Civilization Portrait Frame.

      Season Journey Rewards
      If you’ve been diligently slaying demons before and reached Conqueror in the Season Journey each time, you’ve surely accrued a few extra stash tabs. You’ll earn one additional tab each Season by finishing the Conqueror tier, up to a maximum of five:
      Guardian of Sanctuary: Finish a level 70 Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII difficulty within five minutes. Gem of My Life: Level three Legendary Gems to level 55. All I Do is Win: Complete two Conquests this Season. Life Goes On: Kill Maghda at level 70 in under 15 seconds on Torment XIII difficulty. Money Ain’t a Thang: Slay Greed on Torment XIII difficulty. Treasure Goblins outside of Nephalem Rifts will sometimes open portals to Greed’s domain, The Vault. Take U There: Reach Greater Rift Level 60 Solo. Greater Rift keystones can be obtained from any Nephalem Rift guardian. Power Amplification: Use Kanai’s Cube to augment an Ancient Legendary item with a level 50+ gem.       Seasonal Conquests are additional goals you can complete as part of our Season Journey. To earn all the cosmetic rewards, you'll need to complete at least three of the Conquests below. The challenges available in Season 34 include:
      Sprinter and Speed Racer task you with completing Acts I through V at max level in under one hour. Want to go fast while killing things? Boss Mode and Worlds Apart are right up your alley. On A Good Day and I Can’t Stop are making a return, if leveling your Legendary Gems is more your thing. Finally, if you’re keen to prove your mastery of various Class Sets, Years of War and Dynasty will be returning along with Masters of the Universe and Masters of Sets. Best of luck! Return to Top
      Haedrig’s Gift

      Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, here’s how it works.
      Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. These contain a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely!
      The set you receive depends on the class of the character you’re playing when you open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, you’ll need to open all three on the same character. In this season, Haedrig's Gift will grant all-new class sets introduced with previous Seasons.

      It seems something went very wrong with Season 33, as it it just... ended a while ago. Players took to the forums as there was no early warning, other than a server message around an hour before it all ended. PezRadar responded clarifying that this is not intended and that Blizzard are looking into what happened.

      The shadows, they are moving, and they seem… animated. Like they have a will of their own. Whatever this trickery is, perhaps you can use it to your advantage. Let’s see what the demons say when you fight side by side with your own shadow! Shadows of the Past: Activating a Shrine/Pylon will spawn in a shadow clone of your class, who will come with a randomly chosen 1 of 3 predetermined builds. This clone's power will scale with your character and will last for 1 minute (unless your character dies). See this article for the shadow clone variations that can spawn when activating. Kanai’s Cube: Kanai’s Cube will have a fourth slot this season. Here are the challenges you’ll face: For Curses!/Stars Align, pick any Cursed Chest event that requires killing monsters and defeat over 350 or more at level 70 on Torment X or higher. Also returning for Season 33 is Sprinter/Speed Racer, where you’re challenged to complete the entire Diablo III campaign from Act I to Act V at Level 70 in under an hour! Next is Avarice/Avaritia, where all that glitters is gold—that is, if you can complete a 50 million Gold streak outside of The Vault or its Inner Sanctum. We're also bringing Thrill/Superhuman, which requires completion of a Greater Rift Level 45—solo and without any Set items equipped.       Shades of Nephalem Theme
      In the latest Diablo III Season, the Shades of Nephalem season theme marks a return. Activating a Shrine or Pylon will spawn in a shadow clone of your class. The clone's power wil scale with your character and last for one minute or until death.

      Fourth Kanai's Cube Slot
      In addition to the season theme, Kanai's Cube will have an additional fourth slot.

      Season 33 Start?
      We expect Season 33 to start in late September/early October 2024.
      PTR Testing
      Patch 2.7.8 will be available for testing for one week. Initially, Blizzard planned to test out the patch from September 17 through September 24, but they ran into some unexpected issues and testing has been delayed. New Mac executables for Silicon and Intel chips will be available in this build, as revealed by Blizzard.
