Hello!

Is this good with Arachyr Firebat WD duo? Or what would you recommend?

???

He mentions Firebats WD twice in the build description. The Uliana variation is meant to be used with a Firebats WD using Pain Enhancer.

The standard Exploding Palm Exploding Palm counts as a Bleed, which furthers the benefits of the Pain Enhancer Pain Enhancer equipped by a Firebats Witch Doctor teammate.

[...]you can also look into including Bleed chance in the secondary stats; in the current meta, this will stack the Pain Enhancer Pain Enhancer worn by DPS Witch Doctors, and benefit their Firebats Firebats spam.

Hi a few questions on the build:

1/ It says in the text  "Alacrity adds a 15% separate attack speed multiplier to your Spirit Generators, which offers incredible value to a build that strives to output the maximum number of Crippling WaveCrippling Wave ConcussionConcussions in the shortest amount of time."

whereas the favored rune for Crippling wave is tsunami. Should it be updated?

2/ I have seen some of high level groups using Rondal as an amulet - which is I expect for the bigger picking radius? Or the higher number of primary stats?  Do you think it brings enough to the build to replace the immunity amulets that you recommend?

3/ cooldown reduction is mentioned twice (1 and 6) in the weapons' stat priority. I expecct it is the 1  and not the 6 that is correct?

And thanks for the very helpful explanations you give in general.

I'm worried that I won't get an answer, since the last comment never saw an answer... but why does the title say Inna's & Raiment when the alternative items given are Uliana's?

I don't see any Raiment items anywhere and my clan is telling me I am building wrong because I have Uliana's.

Just looking for suggestions for augmentation gems, obviously either amethysts or diamonds... thoughts or preferences??

Both the weapons list Cooldown reduction twice, as number 1 and number 6. This is obviously an error.

you can't augment with diamonds...so amethysts would be my guess...

I have a question about the passive "Unity". In your explanation, you said it increase the damage of the party of 20%. However, when reading the tooltip, I understand that my dps is increasing of max 20 % when my 3 buddy's are inside the mantra range, but their damage only increase of 5%. So, if i suppose that my own dps is nearly 0, same for the barbarian supp, it's only a damage increasing for the group of 2.5%.

I still not have the equipment needed to to 95+, so i'm taking the passive "Sixth Sense" for the 25% non-physical damage reduction or the "Guardian's Path" for the 35% of dodge.

Or am I totally wrong?

Arguably your strongest source of Spirit regeneration will be your helmet: The Laws of Seph The Laws of Seph adds a massive resource gain angle to Blinding Flash Blinding Flash, replenishing up to 165 Spirit on use of the skill. There is a notable variation of the build that includes 2 pieces from the Uliana set, using Uliana's Spirit Uliana's Spirit plus another Uliana piece of your choosing from the chest, gloves or pants slots (substituting Leoric's Crown Leoric's Crown and one of the Inna pieces, respectively).

This part of the guide does not make any sense. Either you use The Laws of Seph or the Crown, but this description is just contradictory.

On the front page it says to build The Laws of Seph The Laws of Seph. Guess that's a mistake. In the gear section it's Leorics Crown, which is the right choice so I guess it once was Laws but then you forgot to change it?

In stat priority for Little Rogue and The Slanderer, Cooldown Reduction is listed as both the #1 priority and the #6 priority.

Additionally, Kanai Cube section still refers to combining The Laws of Seph with Band of Rue Chambers

your Monk build section describes the builds incorrectly.

The support build is described as

Hi,

Not use The laws of Seph, need Leoric' Crown otherwise lost a lot of cdr (4-5% about)

Need heal on Inner sanctuary and cyclon strike (when you have wd lon without spirit walk and barbarian support) : Epiphany and Mantra isn't enought.

Need Seize the initiative for attack speed, Chant of resonance is useless.

Need health globe bonus on Illusory boots :)

Set Uliana for Exploding palm is not good idea : lost heal, cdr, control and regeneration.

Thanks.

Looks like support monk changed quite a bit recently. Any reason why? It used to have 4 pieces of Inna set and Leoric's Crown as helmet. Now the build has 2 sets, necessitating ring of royal grandier in the cube. Is this really better than the previous one, which was good as far as I could tell. How much better?

Yes, it is better - you buff your Witch Doctor's damage a huge amount by running Uliana 2s because of them running Pain Enhancer, as well as letting your RGK Necro curse faster. You no longer need Leoric's.

Witch Doctor? What if the other players don't have that character in the group, is the current monk still better?

Yeah, since you'll still apply the 15% damage taken buff to the enemies you EP.

Since you already go with cdr on items, gogok and obsidian ring of the zodiac, wouldn't it be better to switch diamond in helm for an amethyst?

As long as you still have 100% uptime on all support abilities, then sure.

The Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander, should be removed from cube recommendations in my opinion. It's too much rng to trigger the effect. First you need a grift with demons inside, if you roll grift with undeads or beasts your cube slot is useless for entire level. Secondly the proc is like 0,1% or lower, I checked it two times and got no effect for the entire rift full of demons.

Now this is of course rng, someone else could be lucky and have 100% uptime for all shrine buffs during entire run, but in the end I think this item is mostly a gamble and in high grs that gamble not always will cut it, especially with so many different choices that could be put in place of Flying Dragon if one doesn't want to use it or simply doesn't have it. I think even vigilance would be better to take than the ahavarion, you get some extra sanctuary procs for free. Blood brother might also be a decent option providing extra toughness through the block chance.

Also, has anyone tried cubing blood brother and using justice lantern with coven's criterion? So far I haven't got any troubles with survivability, but I was wondering if this combo would rather boost my toughness or cripple my overall performance.

I disagree with this. After a total of 50 GRs on my zNecro running this in the cube, I had it proc in every single rift. Some rifts had 3+ effects proc. I never had a single rift where I didn't have the proc and having only 1 was the exception, not the rule. Average was around 2.4 per rift. Maybe it's not a big enough testing area, but 50 GRs of constant shrines isn't bad.

Why are we using Exploding Palm when after 3 hits we already have it?
Can you recommend something else? I think I don't need it while running GR90.
Thanks for response!

You use EP with the bleed rune so your 3-hit auto application puts a EP with bleed up on the enemies. Without the skill, you will receive a no-rune EP, which is useless. You use it specifically for the bleed, not the damage.

Blizzard have moved the launch of Season 34 back a week!
While it was supposed to start today, Blizzard cite players not wanting the new D3 and D4 season launches to overlap on the same week, and needing more time to get the season properly set up, as the previous one ended early.
      Season 34 Delay (Source)
      Hi all
We have shifted the start for the new season of Diablo III to next week. This is due to a few items:
We received a good amount of feedback that many didn’t want overlap with the first weekend of Diablo IV’s new season. We agree so we are building out that gap and will be more mindful of that going forward.
This will help us properly ensure account states migrate over as we had an issue with the prior season rolling early and us having to kick things back on.
You can find the exact times on our Season 34 blog.

Blizzard has posted an official preview of Diablo 3's upcoming Season 34 that starts on January 24!
The ongoing Season 33 ends on January 19. Season 34 reintroduces the Light's Calling Season theme, which means players can obtain Angelic Crucibles, consumables that may be used to Sanctify any Legendary item, infusing it randomly with one of three new class-specific powers. Cosmetic rewards for the patch are as follows:
Completing the Season 34 Guarian journey grants the Book of Cain pet and the Lost Civilization Portrait Frame.
Haedrig's Gift will award you with the following sets in Season 34:
Barbarian - Horde of the Ninety Savages Crusader - Aegis of Valor Demon Hunter - Gears of Dreadlands Monk - Patterns of Justice Witch Doctor - Mundunugu’s Regalia Wizard - Typhon’s Veil Necromancer - Masquerade of the Burning Carnival For more information about Season 34, check out the official blog post below.

Sanctuary needs you to answer its call for aid in Season 34: Light’s Calling. Starting on January 24 at 5 p.m. PST/CET/KST, Nephalem can harness the power of the Light’s Calling theme, which first debuted with Season 27. For an in-depth look at what’s coming, take a gander below. Also, Season 33 will officially come to an end on January 19.

      Season Theme
Looking to turn the tide of an unremitting war between light and darkness, the Angels of the High Heavens have embedded a token of their righteousness in Sanctuary. Cunning Nephalem seeking an advantage in combat will undergo an angelic trial, crystallizing a symbol of their morality into pure, otherworldly perfection. The specific celestial force imbued within by the divine is unknown—an answer waiting to be sought on the battlefield. Go forth, Nephalem!
Season 34 reintroduces Light’s Calling. Valiant Nephalem who recover Angelic Crucibles, a new consumable item, may use them to Sanctify any equippable Legendary item, infusing it with one of three new class-specific powers at random. We wanted to use Angelic Crucibles to lean into the expertise of each class, further exemplifying its respective prowess, but through a nuanced lens. The High Heavens are home to ethereal splendor, bursting with boundless radiance—we wanted to provide players with a taste of untainted power as doled out from Heaven itself.

      Season Cosmetic Rewards
In Season 34, awards originally available from Season 10 are returning. In addition to the Head and Shoulder slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, you’ll be able to earn the Black Soulstone themed portraits and the scholarly Loremaster pennant first introduced in Season 10.

However, we know it’s nice to have something new to aim for if you’ve participated in previous Seasons. We’re continuing to provide new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17, with two new cosmetic ones for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. Prove your worth alongside the Shades of the Nephalem and complete the Season 34 Guardian Journey to earn the Book of Cain pet and the Lost Civilization Portrait Frame.

      Season Journey Rewards
If you’ve been diligently slaying demons before and reached Conqueror in the Season Journey each time, you’ve surely accrued a few extra stash tabs. You’ll earn one additional tab each Season by finishing the Conqueror tier, up to a maximum of five:
Guardian of Sanctuary: Finish a level 70 Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII difficulty within five minutes. Gem of My Life: Level three Legendary Gems to level 55. All I Do is Win: Complete two Conquests this Season. Life Goes On: Kill Maghda at level 70 in under 15 seconds on Torment XIII difficulty. Money Ain’t a Thang: Slay Greed on Torment XIII difficulty. Cubic Reconfiguration: Use Kanai’s Cube to reforge a Legendary item. Return to Top
      Seasonal Conquest
Seasonal Conquests are additional goals you can complete as part of our Season Journey. To earn all the cosmetic rewards, you'll need to complete at least three of the Conquests below. The challenges available in Season 34 include:
Sprinter and Speed Racer task you with completing Acts I through V at max level in under one hour. Want to go fast while killing things? Boss Mode and Worlds Apart are right up your alley. On A Good Day and I Can’t Stop are making a return, if leveling your Legendary Gems is more your thing. Finally, if you’re keen to prove your mastery of various Class Sets, Years of War and Dynasty will be returning along with Masters of the Universe and Masters of Sets. Best of luck! Return to Top
      Haedrig’s Gift

Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, here’s how it works.
Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. These contain a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely!
The set you receive depends on the class of the character you’re playing when you open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, you’ll need to open all three on the same character. In this season, Haedrig's Gift will grant all-new class sets introduced with previous Seasons.
Here are the sets granted by Haedrig’s Gift in Season 34:
Barbarian - Horde of the Ninety Savages Crusader - Aegis of Valor Demon Hunter - Gears of Dreadlands Monk - Patterns of Justice Witch Doctor - Mundunugu’s Regalia Wizard - Typhon’s Veil Necromancer - Masquerade of the Burning Carnival Return to Top

It seems something went very wrong with Season 33, as it it just... ended a while ago. Players took to the forums as there was no early warning, other than a server message around an hour before it all ended. PezRadar responded clarifying that this is not intended and that Blizzard are looking into what happened.

Heard and got some pings while I’ve been out and I have production checking on this early end. This shouldn’t have ended today so something is funky. Will provide an update once I hear back.
