Which rogue spec has the highest burst?

In pvp i want to blow my target up right off the start of the fight and I don't really care about sustain damage.

 

 

I know that icy veins is for pve but this is the forums that posts the fastest that i have seen so i wanted to ask about pvp and see what i would get in response.

Go Assassination. Even with 4pc nerf, still the highest-quickest burst possible (and a decent sustain). Note that depending on fight you'll get screwed right off the bat if you go full retarded blazing guns (Pallies heavy-ho). =P

 

Goes as this: Cheap (2CP) > Rupture > MfD > Vendetta > DfA > Vanish > Envenom > Prep > Vanish > Envenom

 

This usually (if everything crits) kills the usual dude (or dudette) before they notice or cripple them really hard and make them panic. Rest is usual PvE rotation with Kidney Shot into it and react accordingly.

 

Combat can do a lot of damage too, but needs a ramp up for Deep Insight. Lost a bit of it's strenght these days tho, rarely I see a Combat in arena.

I have two more question.

 

1. At the end of the burst you said to do vanish envenom vanish envenom, should i do some mutilates in between? cause i dont get any combo points by using vanish

 

2. What is a good ilvl to start to do ranked bgs and arenas?

1. You need 4 set PvP pieces for that to work. Else you won't burst at all.

 

2. For Bgs, once you got your iLvl 700 daggers it's a very good moment to start. But just hit full blue and you're good to go arenas.
