Lock and Load question

In the icy veins rotation section for surv hunters it says that you can use explosive shot one after the other when lock and load procs. I noticed on my recount addon that if i shoot my explosive shots one after another during lock and load i get less explosive shot tics then if i simply waited for the explosive shot to expire each time. Will i be losing dps if im shooting one after another during lock and load or should i be waiting each time it expires to shoot the next one.

Less ticks, same damage. So you won't lose dps.
