Forsen used this Deck with Arcan Golem long after it was presented in the meta. Don't jump on Sottle. He never said it was "his" Deck. This Deck is only presented by Sottle from what is found in the current meta.

Does this deck need skill or is it boring like face hunter deck?

I would say it is more complex than face hunter, however as almost any aggro deck, it is easy to play, hard to master.

I just want to point out that in the mulligans you listed Annoy-o-tron for control warrior but it's not in the deck, otherwise this has been very helpful, thanks!

Why the heck is Crackle in this deck? Its useless. I did much better by switching both of them out for another Earth Shock and a Dunemaul Shaman. Besides that fix I had to make, this deck is fantastic. Thanks!

I don't know if I'm playing this right, but my tunnel trogg always gets killed turn 1. Should I hold it until I have some overload? Also If it does work out where my trogg is alive, I always run out of cards and cant finish. Should i substitute something for another ancestral knowledge? The highest I've made was rank 11 so I know there's a lot of potential in this deck if people have made it to legend. I just have to understand it better. Thank you!

Exotic, I have noticed the same issue and have had much more luck throwing down Leper or Mrrglton on turn 1 and then hiding trogg behind feral spirit down the road. Haven't found a hard and fast rule tho, seems like it comes down to reading your opponent's class for the most part.

Knife Juggler for what?

Not sure what you mean. I guess you want a swap for Juggler and that would be Wolfrider and a Thalnos or Arcane Golem.

So, I used this deck list as a base... but I took out the very, VERY brittle parts and made it a full blown Overload deck.  So far in Ranked constructed play I'm 15-1, and the one loss was a bit of bad luck draw and a bit of total brain freeze bad play on my part... the game was winnable, I thoroughly blew it.  Anyway, here's the deck list:

Shaman:
2x Earth Shock (for those annoying Taunts)
2x Lightning Bolt (light-medium removal)

2x Tunnel Trog (stompy)

2x Ancestral Knowledge (buff Trog and reload)

2x Crackle (splashy medium-big removal)

2x Lava Shock (little removal plus unlock)

2x Totem Golem (big body on a little mana card)

2x Feral Spirit (taunts of your own that buff Trog?  Cha-ching!)

2x Lava Burst (fixed big removal)

1x Lightning Storm (AOE removal, something this deck lacked)

1x Mana Tide Totem (even if it's a one and done, it gets you a card and it ties up one of the enemies removal resources)

1x Doomhammer (windfury weapon-whomp removal)

Standard:

2x Abusive Sergeant (quickie buff... useful for totems to pop enemy annoyances)

1x Srr Mrrgl (I may remove this... the totems get enemy attention and Wrath of Air makes all the pure dps spells that much nastier) - I'm looking at Unbound Elemental or Windspeaker as the likely replacements.  Giving a buffed Trog Windfury seems like it's all kinds of sick and wrong.

2x Lance Carrier (instant buff that stays... better than Sarge)

2x Loot Hoarder (Trade + Draw = win)

1x Big Game Hunter (staple for stompy removal)

1x Leeroy Jenkins (I like the charge finisher)

Thoughts?

if you dont win turn 4 this deck gets demolished

Just trade less, go more face, more SMOrc. Your opponent will often die to burn spells if your board gets cleaned.

Can someone explain why isn't Whirling Zapomatic used instead of Knife Jugglers? Seems like a better fit to me...

Knife Jugglers are stronger tempo play. If you opponent has a 2-attack minion on the board, he trades with your Zap-o-matic, but if you have Juggler, you can just keep him in hand and play him a few turns later, where Zap-o-matic would be pretty much useless.

This is patently untrue. You can find a recent stream that should still be in my archives where I played 3 hours+ of this deck, with my chat constantly telling me that I was trading too much, yet I kept winning games on turn 10+, if you try to just go face ALL the time, then yes you lock yourself into that situation where the game is only winable if you win early, but you don't have to play the deck like that.

There's a point in that archive where I Lava Burst a 3/2 to keep their board clear, it was right, and I won the game because of it. You can't necessarily teach all of those sorts of decisions in a text guide, it just comes with time, but once you start to improve at playing Aggro, you'll find yourself winning more games overall, with a much larger percentage of them being later wins than you might expect.

Knife Juggler vs Zap-o-Matic.

There's no Flametongue in the deck, which reduces the amount of times Zappo gets to do ludicrous damage. It's a close call, but Juggler can help you to maintain a board presence, which in turn protects things like Tunnel Trogg to be able to deal repetitive damage. As mentioned by positiv, it's also a better card to have late in the game because it has potential for instant damage, where as Zappo will just die immediately if they have any kind of board. People tend to remember the games where Zappo does 20+ damage in a couple of turns and solos the game, and forget about all the other games where it was useless.

Finally a deck to get me closer to 500 wins with shaman(pretty much my least played class since I've picked up hearthstone).

BM'ing secret paladins with this deck is delicious. Let's all start doing it to try and make them quit the game :P

Personally I haven't had much luck with knife jugglers. I've essentially replaced 1 argent horserider with an arcane golem, (only had one) And replaced one doomhammer with a lightning storm. I felt I needed a lightning storm in the current meta, since sometimes the deck felt a little slower against face hunters and aggro pally's, and I would feel a little left behind having to use my burn spells on minions a lot if I did not get the feral spirit in mulligan. I'm not sure if a doom hammer is the right card to replace but I only have one in my collection. I've had some luck with this since it sometimes takes a while to draw your trogg and protect it properly. Sometimes I do feel that I run out of cards (and minions if I trade a lot), but the burn spells help with the last push to lethal. I have only been playing this deck for week so maybe I am not seeing the whole picture of matchups. Wanna try and get to 10 at least this season.

What do you guys think/suggest about regarding replacements.

The rest seems fine to me, but you totally should craft second doomhammer. Drawing that card pretty much tilts your chances to win by around 20% in many match ups.

Yeah, you definitely need double Doomhammer in this deck to play it to its full power. Also Elemental Destruction is a much better choice in this deck than Lightning Storm, since you have double Lava Shock and it can help you in any matchup where you fall behind on board, not just Aggro mirrors.

Hearthstone is taking a bold step into the StarCraft universe with "Heroes of StarCraft: The Great Dark Beyond," a 49-card mini-set launching in January 2025.
Featuring iconic factions like Zerg, Protoss, and Terran, complete with legendary leaders Sarah Kerrigan, Artanis, Jim Raynor, this set blends StarCraft nostalgia with Hearthstone's gameplay.
Additionally, Arena Mode is getting a massive overhaul, introducing shorter Normal Arena runs and a high-stakes Underground Arena with a game matching "re-draft on loss" mechanic, giving you the option to re-draft cards, edit your deck, and keep your run alive, after you lose.
The year ahead promises 3 expansions, including the Emerald Dream's battle between Old Gods and Druids, a return to Un'Goro Crater, and a Chromie-led journey through alternate realities.

Hearthstone: Heroes of StarCraft – The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set
Early next year, Hearthstone is going beyond Warcraft and into... Heroes of StarCraft! This special Mini-Set will have a whopping 49 new cards across three themed factions, which show what the StarCraft universe would look like in the Hearthstone Tavern. Each faction is made up of cards that can be used across multiple classes, including an iconic Hero card.
       Zerg
Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter, and Warlock have joined the Zerg! Led by the formidable  Sarah Kerrigan, they will have aggressive cards that win the game by swarming the board.
       Protoss
Druid, Mage, Priest, and Rogue fight for the Protoss Empire. Led by the High Templar Artanis, they will have powerful, high-cost cards that are made cheaper throughout the game.
       Terran
Paladin, Shaman, and Warrior make up the Terran forces, led by the one and only Jim Raynor. They will command Battlecruisers—a special take on the Starship mechanic from The Great Dark Beyond.
The Mini-Set will feature a slew of StarCraft units which are sure to invoke nostalgia, as well as the Terran-armored Murloc, Grunty, and new, thematic music. You can chart a course for the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set, launching in January 2025! More announcements, details, and card reveals are coming closer to launch.
       Major Arena Updates
Then, for the first time in 10 years, Arena Mode is getting a major overhaul. With that update, there will be two kinds of Arena to choose from. Normal Arena will be shorter form, allowing you to complete your runs more quickly. Competitive Arena players will be able to play in the higher-stakes Underground Arena, with longer runs and a new feature: Re-Draft on Loss. Re-Draft on Loss means that, after you lose, you’ll have the option to re-draft cards, edit your deck, and keep your run alive.
Ratings will also be added to both Normal and Underground Arena. Normal, skill-based matchmaking will be used for Normal Arena. Underground Arena throws caution to the wind and lets you face off against opponents of all skill levels.
This major Arena revamp is coming in the first half of next year. Look out for more details about this update closer to when it goes live.
A Preview of the Year Ahead: The Year of the Raptor!
On top of those updates, Hearthstone has an exciting year of expansions ahead, with much-requested themes, locations, and familiar faces across Azeroth.
In the first expansion of the year, enter the Emerald Dream and join the battle between the Old Gods and the Druids of the Emerald Dream for the fate of the World Tree. Things will heat up even more when the Druids of the Flame light up the Mini-Set (releasing earlier than normal this year, during the 32.2 Patch).
The second expansion of the year will be Hearthstone’s first-ever sequel: the return to Un’Goro Crater! Join Elise on a hunt for a mythical, lost Tortollan city. When you find it, join the Tortollans in a festival to celebrate the mighty dinosaurs of the crater in the 33.4 Mini-Set.
In the third expansion of the year, travel with Chromie through alternate realities to recruit Legendary Warcraft heroes like you’ve never seen them before. Leading to the 34.4 Mini-Set: an epic showdown against Murozond at the end of time!
