Rambunxious 1 Report post Posted December 14, 2015 Still cant figure out why Vigilance is still the default lvl 75 talent. Why would a dps want to take damage.
Sajakain 104 Report post Posted December 14, 2015 Vigilance What, in this talent, implies that a DPS would take damage? The reason why it's the "default choice" is because the other two options are not as viable as Vigiliance is. One is, well, a mass spell reflect (useless because most boss spells are not able to be reflected) and the other reduces damage by 20% for 6 seconds instead of 30% for 12 seconds (Vigilance). Estarriol 167 Report post Posted December 17, 2015 Also Safeguard would cause you to tape damage since you would intercept the next attack against the target. Mass Spell Reflection is absolutely incredible when it works. The instances where it is useful are extremely few. So that leaves Vigilance.
Rambunxious 1 Report post Posted December 17, 2015 It says PROTECTS a raid or party member for 12 seconds reducing damage THEY take by 30% not reducing your damage. Damage has to go somewhere so it would go to the warrior.
Orthios 271 Report post Posted December 17, 2015 Vigilance works the same way that Ironbark works, but is a 30% damage reduction compared to Ironbark's 20%. Nowhere does the tooltip or spell effect say that you take the damage.
Rambunxious 1 Report post Posted December 17, 2015 still pretty useless talent..
Sajakain 104 Report post Posted December 17, 2015 The talent has been thoroughly explained as to why it is superior to the other two talents. Thread locked.
