This build is almost impossible on console :(

Why is that?

Deadset:  what's your opinion of subbing in an Enforcer for Bane of the Stricken? From my (admittedly limited) testing, the buff to MA damage seems just about as effective as BotS against elites and RG's and allows for somewhat faster trash clearance. Your thoughts?

Where did Inner Sanctuary come from?  I read it in the beginning of the guild but it isn't in the skills.

Why Mystic Ally does not have rune. It should be Water Ally? How about Mantra? Mantra of Retribution with Transgression rune gives you 202% more damage. Isn't that something you should use?

I tried a pet build, and finally this really works. just waiting on boots and bracers to drop as I currently have the bracers cubed.

I would appreciate comments / suggestions though.

This is an inna pet / crowd control / sweeping wind build. Makes use of 10 stacks of sweeping wind at all times (belt and cubed weapon) to make use of sunwoku 2 piece 50% dmg reduction and 4 piece 10000 wpn dmg / sec bonuses. As well as the benefits of full inna 6 piece with a full 10 pets (boots).

I may swap out the Occulus for RRoG so I can cube the element immunity amulets (julia / mara etc) then have the choice to use one of those instead.
3x Gems provide pet damage increase (enforcer), generic damage increase to all frozen (bane) and damage mitigation (esoteric).

Inna 6 / Sunwoku 4 Ice

Cube :- RRoG / Crudest Boots / Vengeful Wind

Head - Inna

Shoulders - Sunwoku
Amulet - Sunwoku ( With Enforcer)

Chest - Inna

Legs - Sunwoku

Boots - Inna

Diabo - Inna

Gloves - Inna

Bracers - Bindings of the Lesser Gods

Belt - Kyoshiros Soul

Ring #1 - CoE (with Esoteric Alteration)

Ring #2 - Your choice (i currently have cooulus with Bane of trapped)

Way of Hundred fists - Assimilation

Cyclone Strike - Implosion

Sweeping Wind - Master of wind

Inner Sanctuary - Forbidden Sanctuary

Mystic Ally - No Rune

Breath Of Heaven - Blazing Wrath

Talents :- Relentless Assault / Harmony / Resolve / Near Death Experience

The Inna's 2pc bonus gives you the base effect of all 4 Mantras.  The 6pc bonus summons all 5 rune variations of Mystic Ally, so you don't need a specific rune.

Amazing build guide! I play Diablo occasionally, so this may be a dumb question, but how did you get all those perfects stats on all your items?

What about Tasker and Theo?

It increases pet AS up to 50%... That should be a huge permanent dmg increase.

If you are tough enough, you could switch spirit bracers to tasker and theo.

Alternative: switch CoE to RoRG and inias hands to tasker and theo... but I guess CoE is too strong to get rid of it...

I am waiting to gamble a set of Taskers still. I am interested in how I might be able to work them in eventually as well.

I have a question regarding items and skills possibilities. I ran across a very nice pair of Raiment shoulders early on and was sporting them as I collected gear. It got me thinking when I found a pair of the Raiment pants before any other useful ones. The 2 set bonus of 25% IAS and 100% damage on spirit generators is very nice. Obviously, on the non EP version.

Now this has a cascading effect on other gear/skills. Lacking the damage reduction from the shoulders, you can swap out Sanctuary for Agility. The 35% evade (since we have no other evade) has a massive effect on toughness, and I am wondering how that calculation might work out.

This also requires the use of RoRG. Unless we cubed our boots and rocked the Inna's ones. However, then we couldn't use Spirit Guards in the cube. I'm not sure if this could be worked out or not.

Anyone who knows more/delves into the numbers more than I care to look into it?

Thanks for any thoughts on the matter.

Heya, I wish I had those perfect stats - they're just maximized examples, not gear I actually have! :D

As for Lumps' question, have you taken a look at the Inna/Raiment build we have? It follows along these exact lines - boosting generator damage, taking advantage of Allies buffs and Raiment primary skill bonuses, etc.

about this I am also confused... The is nothing in "Build section" about Inner Senctuary, but in the text: "Once enemies are drawn in for the kill, you will be placing an x1_monk_innersanctuary.png Inner Sanctuary circle at their feet to speed up"

The active skills in section 3 are for the Exploding Palm variation. The pet build should use Inner Sanctuary with Forbidden Palace rune.

For EP builds, should you get Area Damage on gloves/shoulders?  Do you need mystic ally damage?

To my understanding, Area Damage benefits the Mystic Ally active that procs the big EP bursts in the first place, so the stat definitely has value. Balancing it against Mystic Ally % or other Toughness rolls is a bit of a personal preference area though!

I assembled the pieces for the pure pet build, and while it can clear GR60 easily with 10 minutes to spare, I'm not even close to clearing GR70. It seems like it's severely lacking in damage. I have a Leapquake Barb and a Helltooth Gargantuan WD who are similarly or worse geared, and they have no problem clearing GR70-80. Real shame because I love the feel of this build,

Very true, and perhaps even more frustratingly - some of the lack of DPS comes from poor orientation and focus of the Mystic Ally AI. Past a certain point it's the EP variation or bust, I'm afraid.

I was having even less success with the EP variation, honestly. How in the world do you focus down individual enemies with this to trigger EP? Your gear must be ridiculous to take this to GR90+.

90+ on any spec is a combination of high (1300+) Paragons, high (90+) augmentations on all gear pieces, and high (100+) level legendary gems - so it's no small feat! :) Personally I didn't enjoy the EP variation much as it feels clunky, but once you get it down, it works. Keeping track of EP-tagged monsters is very stressful and demanding though.

Guest Inna's Mustic Ally.

Hi deadset, and Thanks for the Inna's/Mystic Ally Build.  I had started kinda late in Season 6, and although I was only around Paragon-450, or thereabouts, at that time, I still managed to do eek out a modest Solo GR-62, just before the season ended.

Since then I removed Tempest-Rush, and have now began to learn to use Dashing Strike more.

I enjoyed playing it, especially with 10 MA's pummelling away. It's a interesting setup for sure, once I finally got used to the (as you mentioned),  "clunky" A,I. of the allies

btw, I noticed on ALL your Monk Builds TR(Tempest Rush is a no go) ?, which is unfortunate but probably required at much higher level attainments.  I hope the Inna's/MA build remains a viable setup.

and thanks again, for your tips, builds,...

GL.  :)

Hi Deadset. Thanks for the builds - I'm trying a number of them. I'm currently playing the Monk EP variation. And like above I'm having real problems beyond GR66.

Just about all my gear is ancient, and close to, if not perfect, recommended stats. I've applied Level 60 - 65 legendary gems to most items. Current Paragon 740 with points spent as advised. I play with friends a lot, and up to now, I've always been the most robust character in town. Now I seem to be the squishiest!

So, should I try a different Monk End Game Spec or put the Monk to sleep for a while and play one of my other toons until I get heaps more paragon points?

Thanks mate :)

A brand new season arrives in Diablo 3 next month! Blizzard have the full preview ready so let's take a look at the cosmetic rewards, season journey, Haedrig's Gift sets, and more!
      Season 33 (Source)
Sanctuary needs you to answer its call for aid in Season 33: Shades of the Nephalem. Starting on October 25 at 5 p.m. PDT/CET/KST, Nephalem can harness the power of the Shades of the Nephalem theme, which first debuted with Season 22. For an in-depth look at what’s coming, take a gander below. Also, Season 32 will officially come to an end on October 20. Seasonal Journey
      Season Theme
      Season Cosmetic Rewards
      Season Journey Rewards
      Seasonal Conquest
      Haedrig’s Gift
      Patch 2.7.8
      Season Theme
The shadows, they are moving, and they seem… animated. Like they have a will of their own. Whatever this trickery is, perhaps you can use it to your advantage. Let’s see what the demons say when you fight side by side with your own shadow! Shadows of the Past: Activating a Shrine/Pylon will spawn in a shadow clone of your class, who will come with a randomly chosen 1 of 3 predetermined builds. This clone's power will scale with your character and will last for 1 minute (unless your character dies). See this article for the shadow clone variations that can spawn when activating. Kanai’s Cube: Kanai’s Cube will have a fourth slot this season. This fourth slot will have the choices of the first 3 slots but will not stack with any of them, providing additional flexibility to your build. Return to Top Season Cosmetic Rewards
Beginning with Season 17, we began re-introducing previous Seasonal rewards to make them available to any who may have missed them the first time around. For Season 33, this means awards originally available from Season 9 are returning to the Season Journey. However, we know it’s nice to have something new to aim for if you’ve already participated in previous Seasons. We’re continuing to provide new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17, with two new cosmetic rewards for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. Prove your worth in the Trial of Tempests to earn the Stupendous Contraption pet and the Industrial Portrait Frame.
In addition to the Chest and Gloves slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, you’ll be able to earn the Pandemonium portraits, and the cute and craggily Rocky pet first introduced in Season 9. Return to Top Season Journey Rewards
If you’ve been diligently slaying demons before and reached Conqueror in the Season Journey each time, you’ve surely accrued a few extra stash tabs. You’ll earn one additional tab each Season by finishing the Conqueror tier, up to a maximum of five: Guardian of Sanctuary: Finish a Level 70 Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII difficulty within five minutes. Gem of My Life: Level three Legendary Gems to level 55. All I Do is Win: Complete 2 Conquests this Season. Life Goes On: Kill Maghda at Level 70 in under fifteen seconds on Torment XIII difficulty. Money Ain’t a Thang: Slay Greed on Torment XIII difficulty. Treasure Goblins outside of Nephalem Rifts will sometimes open portals to Greed’s domain, The Vault. Take U There: Reach Greater Rift Level 60 Solo. Greater Rift keystones can be obtained from any Nephalem Rift guardian. Power Amplification: Use Kanai’s Cube to augment an Ancient Legendary item with a Level 50+ gem. Cubic Reconfiguration: Use Kanai’s Cube to reforge a Legendary item. Return to Top Seasonal Conquest
Want to prepare your Conquest plan for Season 33? Here are the challenges you’ll face: For Curses!/Stars Align, pick any Cursed Chest event that requires killing monsters and defeat over 350 or more at level 70 on Torment X or higher. Also returning for Season 33 is Sprinter/Speed Racer, where you’re challenged to complete the entire Diablo III campaign from Act I to Act V at Level 70 in under an hour! Next is Avarice/Avaritia, where all that glitters is gold—that is, if you can complete a 50 million Gold streak outside of The Vault or its Inner Sanctum. We're also bringing Thrill/Superhuman, which requires completion of a Greater Rift Level 45—solo and without any Set items equipped. And lastly we'll be bringing back Speed Demon/Need for Speed, meaning you'll need to beat a Torment X Nephalem Rift at Level 70 in 2 minutes. Best of luck! Return to Top Haedrig’s Gift
Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, here’s how it works: Completing Acts II, III, and IV of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. Each Gift contains a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely! The set you receive depends on the class of the character you’re playing when you open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, you’ll need to open all three on the same character. Here are the sets granted by Haedrig’s Gift in Season 33: Barbarian - Might of the Earth Crusader - Thorns of the Invoker Demon Hunter - The Shadow's Mantle Monk - Monkey King's Garb Witch Doctor - Raiment of the Jade Harvester Wizard - Firebird's Finery Necromancer - Grace of Inarius Return to Top Patch 2.7.8
Our next patch goes live on October 22 and introduces quality-of-life updates for demon slayers on Mac. New Mac Executables/Mac Native Silicon and Intel: These updates will allow Diablo III to run on new versions of the macOS. PC Experience Stability: This PTR is open to both Mac and PC players. While the focal point of the 2.7.8 PTR is to test technical updates for Mac, we want PC users to monitor their playing experience as well. If you experience any stability issues or difficulties in connecting with Mac players, please give us that feedback. Return to Top

Season 32 of Diablo 3, Ethereal Memory, will go live later today, and we have prepared a list of various useful and updated guides to help you get started!
The Season of Ethereal Memory will start later today at 5 p.m. PDT (NA Servers), 5 p.m. CEST (EU Servers), and 5 p.m. KST (Asian Servers). The theme of Season 32 was first introduced with Season 24 and is now back for another round!
      What are Ethereal Memories?
The theme of the season reintroduces the Ethereals, which are rare and powerful items known from Diablo II and reimagined for Diablo III. You will be able to hunt for all 21 iconic weapons of Diablo 2 during the season, but this time they will be harder to find and will only drop in Ancient or Primal rarity!

To help you with the start of this new season, our team has been busy updating all of our Diablo 3 guides to reflect all the changes ahead of the season launch. You can find our Season 32 Hub, as well as guides for leveling, the season mechanic, rankings, season start guides for each class, and even conquest guides, in the list below.
General Season Guides Our Season 32 guides include all the information you need to know, from Haedrig's Gift sets to SSF and season mechanic explanations:
Seasonal Leveling Guide Season 32 Compendium Ethereal Memories Solo Self-Found Mode (SSF) Leveling Guides
We have you covered with our updated leveling guidelines, regardless of the class you want to play!
Barbarian Season Start Crusader Season Start DH Season Start Monk Season Start Necromancer Season Start Witch Doctor Season Start Wizard Season Start Season 32 Conquest Guides
Finally, if you need help completing any of the season's conquests, we recommend you check out our individual guides listed below:
Curses! Divinity  Years of War Masters of the Universe Boss Mode Season 32 Cosmetic Rewards
Previous season items make their return this season. If you missed out on rewards originally available in Season 8, you will be able to get them this time. Furthermore, the end of journey rewards (originally introduced in Season 17) are back: The Teganze Warrior portrait frame and the Bat pet!

As an interesting side note, the portrait frame you can earn this season is named after Teganze, a zone that was first introduced in Diablo 2 and will be revisited during our journey in the upcoming expansion of Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred!

Season 32 in Diablo 3 starts on July 12 and here is the official preview with more details.
      (Source)
Sanctuary needs you to answer its call for aid in Season 32: Ethereal Memory. Starting on July 12 at 5 p.m. PDT/CET/KST, Nephalem can harness the power of the Ethereal Memory theme, which first debuted with Season 24. For an in-depth look at what’s coming, take a gander below.

      Seasonal Journey
      Season Theme
      Season Cosmetic Rewards
      Season Journey Rewards
      Seasonal Conquest
      Haedrig’s Gift
      Season Theme
As the Nephalem reflect on Sanctuary's history, instruments of power from a bygone era resurface. These ethereal memories will grant those persistent enough to search for them unimaginable power. Legends of the past will manifest once more in the present, and you must decide how to best use these gifts—for ethereal power is fugacious by nature, and will soon return to being no more than a myth.
For this seasonal theme, we were inspired to reimagine how Ethereal items could manifest in Diablo III, with 21 iconic weapons making a return from Diablo II. In Season 32, Ethereals are rare, powerful, and fleeting items.
Season 32 reintroduces Ethereals, a weapon-type that players will be able to acquire and hunt for in their upcoming seasonal journey. Ethereals will roll a powerful set of affixes, a random Class Weapon Legendary Power and a random Class Passive Power. Ethereals will have unique icons, names, item types, and sounds originally found in Diablo II. For additional details on Ethereals, check out the list below:
Ethereals are account bound and can only be dropped by monsters, chests, and destructibles, but do not require your character to be Level 70 in order to drop. Ethereals cannot be acquired through Kanai's Cube or from Kadala. Ethereal rarity drop rate is set between Ancient and Primal items. There are 3 unique Ethereals per class. Each Ethereal has fixed affixes and rolls one random Legendary Weapon power and one random Class Passive Skill. Only one Ethereal can be equipped at a time. Ethereals ignore item durability loss. Legendary Powers and Class Passive Skills rolled on Ethereals do not stack with the same power equipped through Kanai's Cube, Items or Skills. Ethereals cannot be Enchanted, Transmogrified, Dyed, Reforged, or traded. Ethereals can be augmented. Collecting all 21 Ethereals during the season will reward players with the Feat of Strength, Ethereal Recollection. Players who accomplish this will have all Ethereal transmogrify options available for future seasonal and non-seasonal play. Ethereals only drop in Seasonal play and will not transfer to your non-seasonal character when the season ends. Return to Top
      Season Cosmetic Rewards
Beginning with Season 17, we began re-introducing previous Seasonal rewards to make them available to players who may have missed them the first time around. For Season 32, this means awards originally available from Season 8 are returning to the Season Journey.

We’re continuing to provide new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17, with two new cosmetic rewards for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. Feast your eyes upon the Teganze Warrior Portrait Frame and Bat pet!

In addition to the Boots and Pants slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, you’ll be able to earn a series of portrait frames that smolder with demonic fires of the Burning Hells. The iconic wings of Andariel will also be available once more, allowing you to truly embrace your inner Maiden of Anguish.

      Season Journey Rewards
If you’ve been diligently slaying demons for the past few Seasons and reached Conqueror in the Season Journey each time, you’ve surely accrued a few extra stash tabs. You’ll earn one additional tab each Season by finishing the Conqueror tier, up to a maximum of 5:
Guardian of Sanctuary: Finish a level 70 Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII difficulty within 5 minutes. Gem of My Life: Level three Legendary Gems to level 55. Seasonal Conquest
Want to prepare your Conquest plan for Season 32? Here are the challenges you’ll face!
For Curses!/Stars Align, pick any Cursed Chest event that requires killing monsters and defeat over 350 or more at Level 70 on Torment X or higher. Push your way to Greater Rift Level 75 to complete Divinity/Lionhearted. For the fiercest demon slayers, Boss Mode/Worlds Apart is a speed challenge where you’ll need to eliminate the following bosses at Level 70 and Torment X in under twenty minutes:
The Skeleton King The Butcher Zoltun Kulle Ghom Cydaea Rakanoth Diablo Adria Queen Araneae Maghda Belial Siegebreaker Assault Beast Azmodan Izual Urzael Malthael Finally, Years of War/Dynasty will be a great test for those who enjoy mastering various Class Sets, and if that’s not enough, Masters of the Universe/Masters of Sets will challenge your tactical understanding of Set Dungeons.
      Haedrig’s Gift
Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey (courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift) have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, here’s how it works:
Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts.
Here are the sets granted by Haedrig’s Gift in Season 32:
Barbarian – Immortal King’s Call Crusader – Seeker of the Light Demon Hunter – Natalya’s Vengeance Monk – Uliana’s Stratagem Necromancer – Trag’Oul’s Avatar Witch Doctor – Spirit of Arachyr Wizard – Vyr’s Amazing Arcana
