Krazyito 521 Report post Posted June 28, 2013 On heroic, is there any reason you couldn't leave Dam'ren up for the duration of the final phase? And kill him after Iron Qon is dead if need be? See this is something I've seen recently too when working on this fight. When I first was reading up on it, I saw on IV that the Frost dog should be killed first, but every other guide I read says to pull him to the side and kill the fire dog first, then wind, then frost. It really doesn't matter which order you kill it. We just kill the frost dog because screw target switching, just push right after a Dead Zone and melt the adds then the boss. On a side note, I hate that frost spike visual, I see it one week and then nothing the next.
Krazyito 521 Report post Posted July 7, 2013 Kinda late for this but I'll put it out there anyway. If you're considered a melee class (mistweaver monk included) the lighting debuff will not spread between other melee. Any interactions with a ranged player will trigger the spread. So melee are free to stay stacked for the whole time.
