Currently i sit at 10k Haste and 11,5k Mastery, but as a long time Affli Player i am a bit of a Haste Addict. ^^

I think i might try that 14,3k Haste Breakpoint and see what it does, But as my Raidgrp. is falling apart at the moment i am not sure when i will be able to Raid decently .... that sucks.

We've almost downed all heroics and lots of people apply for our guild even though we don't recruit. As a lock throw your name anywhere you would like to go and if you have decent gear with good experience you're likely to perk some ears easily sir! Just got Meta and stare them down.. stare long and hard.

when you say experience do you mean have done normal bosses - other day I got in on Iron Qon, Twins, and Lei for the 1st time doing it on normal, got some nice shoulders but my dps wasn't best compare to the others. I would start strong over 100k+ but on Iron I just can't keep above it, but on twins and Lei I can, but my gear was way weaker then the guild and I was last while other were over 180K dps, so I don't think I gave them a good impression - they said I did good despite not being hardcore raider - which I am just have not build my guild all the way yet, or found one who needs me. Well the ones who want a lock ask for 12/12 experience and 535+ ilevel or of course to be Demo which I am still struggling with (I don't know why - I never had this much trouble being demo in the past)

Why is glyph of shadowbolt listed as a mandatory glyph? Only first bolt that hits have a chance to proc anything, not each individually.

hello again, going here just to thank the efforts of all to help,

zagam even reshaped the guide making even better.

I only started raiding in Pandaria and I still do not know many things that are basic, so when I walk into a "cores" pugs with experienced players but with compatible gear and the people make compliments about my gameplay and dps just have to thank you guys, and of course the fact that warlocks are awesome

Is it worth it to go for

12731 haste and 5900 mastery. I also lose 1520 int.

I don't think it's worth making the switch just want to make sure.

You should be gemming some secondary stats in that item level. I recommend 8094 haste then rest in mastery for overall ToT. You can use AskMrRobot to optimize your gear but you need to lower coefficent of Intellect so it can gem secondary stats.

Edit: Since you said I lose 1520 Int, I'm thinking that you are gemming Int at the moment.

Dump Int gems for Mastery ones, win. I like how shiny Int gems look too but sadly it's not the best in any situation :(

Not yet. For this tier 8.1k haste rest mastery is the king on overall because there is some fights with important AoE damage requirements. There is no Doom breakpoint on 12k because we are all using Glyph of Everlasting Affliction and it changes breakpoints. I am using 14.3k(goblin) breakpoint where you get another tick from Doom(EA) and Shadowflame just because I cannot go lower than 10k haste and most of the content is on farm for us, so AoE requirements are lower compared to progression.

Just to be sure that I'm playing correctly, Touch of Chaos, Fel Flame, and Void Ray all count as a refresh on Corruption and overwrite the previous snapshot unlike the SPriest two-piece, right?

I was just playing around with it, and holy hell if you had all temp buffs up, glyph,, and 5% passive you could get +37 ticks with corruption - now it says 26609 haste, is that what you have with all those, or is that what you have to have standard? Could that even be achieved?

OK but that not the point - is that the haste you must have before all those buffs are what you will have once they are all up? To make it better I use Doom

DOOM 26131 +16 258.30% - so with everything up and being a troll does that mean you need to be running 26131 before the procs to get that many ticks? this is with EA of course

Also been trying to figure this out - when casting a spell when you get buff/buffs go away does it auto get calculated into the spell being cast or only the next one. So if I casting a Shadowbolt, Chaos Bolt or anything else and UVLS procs is it the next spell cast that gets it benefit or the current one that get it

Nytemare, a spell benefits from any buffs on you the moment it casts. So, if you started casting a shadow bolt, and UVLS proc'd halfway through, that shadow bolt would get the crit. If you were silly and decided two cast two more shadow bolts because you like doing poor DPS, the second one (assuming 2 second cast time here with 25% haste) would also crit, but then the third would not as the UVLS proc would end in the middle of it and it would cast after it goes off.

Simple question LF a simple asnwer:

I am starting to rank in Worldoflogs and my epeenbot numbers are starting to look quite nice to me; on everything but magera normal, where I am lagging behind compared to my rankings among other locks. Was gonna ask this in t15 thread but the follow up belongs here. What and when do folks dot heads??

Follow up non-magera Question: I assume even non crit off target doom increases main target dps, is the fury generated from corruption the same deal? Does adding corruption to off targets assist in more overall damage to the main target, or is this just padding.
