Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Looking forward to the artifact weapon system, new maps, toys, and all the new things in Legion.

After 300 mounts and 240 toys collected in Draenor, there will be much more to collect in Legion.

Can't wait to log into beta.

I'm looking forward to my class' changes in Legion - I main a Windwalker Monk - and the new mastery sounds quite exciting. I'm a bit sad to see some of the micromanagement with the SEF spirits and tigereye brew gone, but overall it should streamline the spec a lot.

Another thing that's huge for me in Legion is that it'll be the first expansion where I'm actively raiding from the beginning. I only started raiding with HFC this tier, and made it to mythic. Hopefully the future holds bright things!

I look forward the most to Demon Hunters. I joined WoW towards the end of WotLK and ever since have mained a Death Knight. I told myself I would never switch mains until the implementation of another hero class and looks like that is finally happening

I am EXTREMELY  excited for gnome hunters. I don't know why but I just think it would be hilarious to see. But the mech pets is going to be pretty awesome. PVP is probably one of my favorite aspects of WoW atm so the prestige system is kinda worrisome but also exciting!

I'm pumped for legion to bring raiding back to the burning crusade days when it was fun while being difficult at the same time. I'm also excited for balance druid to be fun again and I'm excited to try the new Astral Power system to bring control back to the caster.

Really looking forward to Demon Hunters. I am happy they're starting at a higher level like they did with DK's, really liked that in wrath, and I think them starting at 98 is a huge incentive to jump right into one without having to catch up on everything.

Also the prestige system is drawing me back into pvp.

While I'm relatively new to WOW (started playing Warlords of Draenor about 3 moths agoI really enjoy the game and how many different possibilities there are. Just by looking at it there are so many different options for playing through the game again, and i really enjoy that in a game. Legion looks like really cool in general (big fan of the legion, but like not really) and its going to be so cool to have a game when your going head to head against them and their full force. Also the artifact system looks really cool too.

I am really looking forward to the variety of new spells and animations coming to Legion compared to the older expansions we saw 1 or 2 new spells for each class/spec which isn't very exciting as I really enjoyed when I first played the game and got to experience learning a new spell and seeing how awesome it looked, I will be able to have a similar experience to that again in Legion.

I'm looking forward to the refocusing on "class fantasy" and making each class/spec feel unique.

Also the new raids - best memories have always been downing those end-of-tier bosses.

Legion looks amazing! I've watched Towelliee and a couple others on Twitch and I gotta say, I'm thrilled to see what is to come of WoW. I've been playing since Cata and it has helped me a lot really. I am a 27 yr old who needs another kidney transplant but that's not really important lol. I also enjoy the prestige system.

I'm looking forward to a lot of things come Legion!

1. Demon Hunters

2. Artifacts

3. The removal of secondary resources for healers (I hated it as a healer)

4. Mistweaver Monk changes!

5. And lastly, it seems like the healers are being slightly de-homogenized come Legion, which is a great sign!  I hated the changes they made in Cataclysm in making all the healers very similar, ie. all healers have a slow casting, low cost heal, a fast casting expensive heal, etc.  I miss having just single target, powerful heals as a paladin, and such.  Now every healer has AoE spells, good single target spells, and everything.  I liked having differences!

I am really looking forward to playing the new Demon Hunter class and all the new raids in Legion. Also excited about the new class changes.

Some of my favorite memories come from raiding with all of my mates throughout the years in WoW as well as just messing around in the world.

My main is a hunter and my primary alt is a disc priest, so I'm looking forward to seeing how each of them play since both classes have some huge changes. I'm also excited to check out the new transmog system and the artifact weapons.

I am honestly thrilled for legion. Everything I've read thus far I honestly believe will be a great addition to the game. In Legion, I am looking forward to artifact weapons the most. As a huge lore nerd, I think its awesome that we're going to be able to wield these powerful weapons against the legion.  I've met a log of awesome people and shared a bunch of amazing moments while playing Warcraft. However, I have to say my fondest memory has to be when we killed Mythic Archimonde for the first time. This moment was amazing for so many reasons. First off, this was the first time I've ever fully completed a raid tier on the hardest difficulty. Second off, just progressing through HFC with my guild was a blast, and going 13/13M was just the icing on the cake.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
