Oh man. Guys, I don’t even know where to begin with this. I could probably end up writing a novel over those four simple questions. Whelp! You asked! So buckle up, and get ready for this ride!

My opinions on Legion:

Simply put? Love it. Love what I see. Love the direction of PvP. Love the in depth lore that seems to be engulfing this expansion. It’s just drenched in so many countless possibilities! I’m literally at the edge of my seat (Possibly have slipped from said seat a couple times, but shhh. Don’t tell anyone). What will happen? Who will parish? Will be push back Sargeras? Or will we wade through his countless minions, only to have our victories shattered as he steps through the portal into our world?

Not only that, but what about Grand Magistrix Elisande? While never on really good terms with the world, once she had a bit of common sense (Not going to say too much to avoid spoiling stuff for people). Will we be able to make her, and the Nightborne see the error in their ways? Or are we just going to put her on farm status and pillage all those loots… Probably the latter, but still! I like the Nightborne, they look awesome!

Then there is this talk about more Titan Lore…. Ooo man. Don’t even get me started. I’m literally drooling at the mouth for this one. DROOLING. Yep. It’s super attractive. And after reading the Chronicles book. Well… yes.. Just all the yes.

Also! Let’s not forget the art! The new arena alone is absolutely breathtaking! The elegant Elven structures! The creepy feel of the Emerald Nightmare! They really outdid themselves this expansion, I simply can’t wait to immerse myself into this world.

Ahem. I should probably continue on. Okay then!

My opinions on WoW itself:

Well. It’s come a long way. A waaaaay long way. I remember back when I was a cute little high schooler (Really weird to think about…) first logging into Vanilla WoW. The world was so vast, so new. So breathtaking to me. It wasn’t long after that I realized…. Blizzard was evil (I love you Bliz <3). Pulling two mobs at once was deadly, three was a guaranteed death. I had to venture through the world to collect –every- flight path, or run the risk of not being able to go anywhere. And don’t even get me started on the death run between Darnassus to Stormwind. Seriously, I must’ve been a masochist. Being an Elf was –not- worth that torment. But regardless of such hardships, the challenge was captivating. I felt accomplished with each level. As though I had earned it through sweat and blood. I stared up at top tier raiders wearing tier 1 as though they were my heroes.

Then PvP came out. Well, I mean, there was always pvp in the game. Tarren Mills Vs South Shore battles were legendary. But, now we had set fields. And oh boy, did we learn how unbalanced pvp really was. And then that honor system they had. The challenge was God like. I dreamed of Grand Marshal, then realized you had to eat, drink, and sleep pvp to keep it. Thus, it became a fleeting dream, yet always a nice thought.

Anyways! Continuing on with the point of this reminiscing. Things have changed a lot in WoW. Leveling as grown easier, yet has become bathed with in depth story. Pvp has been revamped, overhauled, tripped, shoved, pushed, pulled, danced upon, and even had the kitchen sink thrown at it. Raiding has evolved, not just in the sense that Blizz continues to think of creative ways to kill its players, but now it’s woven and integrated into the story of the larger game and the opportunity to partake in such vast battles is given to people that can’t dedicate great deals of time to the game (some people may agree that this is okay, some may not. Either way!)

So. Ultimately. Even with this changes. Even with the shifts in directions. Directions that I sometimes agree with, and sometimes cry, or even rage at. My opinion of WoW is about the same as the day I first stepped into its vast world. Star struck by awe and amazement, over the wonders that are around me. Excitement, to explore, to venture, and reveal its secrets.

What am I most looking forward to:

Demon Hunters. Yep. I’m that person. The one of millions who is foaming at the mouth for this little morsel. I’m sure countless people have said this, but man I’m going to sing that same tune. I have wanted Demon Hunters since Burning Crusade. I have preached their greatness to all my friends. All of which began their attempts to tarnish my hopes and dreams after years slipped by with no sight of Demon Hunters to be seen. But I held strong! Never wavering!

I kid you not. You know that feeling you get when an overpowering sensation of joy just surges through you, and before you even realize it you’re shouting from pure excitement? Unable to even control it? I kind of picture it something like what teenagers do at their favorite boy band concert. Yep. I did that.  I was a teenager over Demon Hunters. I regret nothing.

Plus! Not even moments after the announcement, my phone exploded with congratulations from said group of friends. I had won!

Aside from that. I’m very much looking forward to the story. Though you saw me drooling over that above. Next would be PvP. The revamp looks amazing. One of the biggest problems my friends and I faced each expansion is, we never knew what to do in larger groups. Yes, we normally did do Battlegrounds together. But it lead to no real means of progression. After a while, we just began breaking up into smaller groups to do arena. Now! We can continue on as a giant wrecking ball of PvP goodness and gain something from it! Happy days!

Fondest memories in Warcraft History:

Again… I could write forever about this. But this is starting to get long. So I’ll try and keep it brief.

Valor. No no, I don’t mean the cute little points you get now-a-days. Oh no. I mean the real deal. The original dungeon set. Valor armor for the warrior class. I had worked countless hours, days, and even weeks, on trying to get these pieces. And when I got my first piece. An overwhelming surge of happiness flooded through me. Seriously. My smile was ear to ear.

Tarren Mill Vs South Shore battle. Now this was a tad bit later down the road. It wasn’t until I got involved playing WoW with IRL friends that I found the true beauty of this. I had made a Hordie on a PvP server, joined their guild, and was innocently questing. When the ganking stared. Then the camping…. Then an ignorantly grumbled complaint to said friends. Thus, the first domino fell to what became one of the most epic battles I had ever witnessed. The clash was glorious. They showed up, more enemy showed up and it never stopped! Sad I wasn’t 60 at the time… but… even still! It was epic.

After that. It’s gotta go to the Netherdrake Mount. It wasn’t until about Wrath that I managed to back track and get this little gem. The daily grind was still annoying. But was worth every second in the end. These majestic dragons were gazed upon with a wanting stare! However, I wasn’t good at raiding, nor was I good at acquiring money. So their epicness was denied to me until the next expansion. But! I got them in the end!

Which also reminds me. My first ground mount, way back in vanilla has to go on this list. Nothing to epic about this. But holy crap, to get the gold needed for one of those bad boys….. Sadly I missed out on the original batch of ground mounts. I couldn’t get the gold in time. Oh well.

The story line in wrath. This was pretty much the first time I ever got chills of excitement from a questing experience. Thus, the first time I actually enjoyed questing.

Annnnnnnnnd. While there is so many more I can prattle on about. I think I’ll leave it on this note. I have to give it to the Warcraft Chronicles book. While this isn’t exactly old school or anything. I have to say, reading this book, diving even deeper into this in depth world that Blizzard has created, truly has helped set the inferno of desire to play this game once again.

Anyways! This was an insanely long response. Honestly, thank you simply for the opportunity to go on about such things! It was fun to reminisce about it all.  Congratulations to your 5 years! And continue on for 5 more! I can’t even count how many times I’ve swung by this site. (Though I generally do just that… not exactly the most social butterfly) But I appreciate all the hard work that is done none-the-less!

Have a good one!

I cant wait to try out Disc. I loved the idea of atonement spec but thought past implementation wasn't as good as it could have been.

The idea of leveling my artifact weapon and the thrill of improvement always got me excited. I'm pumped to play legion with my Windrunner bow , equipped finally with a quiver!

I think I'm most excited about in Legion are all the new spell graphics, Artifacts and the whole Legion invasion! I'm also pretty excited about Class Halls and the new transmog system!

I started playing a few weeks before BC and this game still amazes me. I remember walking arund Stormwind and Ironforge for the first time and how big the world felt (specially because I was a little gnome lol). I've met a lot of nice people (and some enemies) along the way which made this journey even better! Thanks, Blizzard and I hope to be around for a long time!

I'm really excited for the new artifact weapons and raids as both look really cool. My favorite moment by far has to be when I first downed mythic Garrosh back in MoP for the first time.

I am fond of playing Warlock class, especially demon! Moreover I'd like to know how Gul'dan died in the Surama raid of course, and will he come back sooner or later.

I was beginning to play WoW with my friends in undergraduate. Although most of them are AFK by many reasons, I still play this game for faith. In LEG new patch, I concentrate more on raid and story, instead of PVP. It is no hesitation about how I wanna to play LEG ASAP!

More than anything, I am most interested in trying out the demon hunter, so that I can contribute meaningfully to the beta feedback of the class that I intend to main for my raid. Naturally, as someone who's a major night elf fan, I am very excited to finally see Demon hunter added and the inevitable Night elf lore rush we'll see in Legion.

Insofar as WoW itself, while I always enjoy the raiding and usually the lore, I haven't been very in love with the current expansion. Off the heals of a success the level of Pandaria WoD felt disappointing. However after reading Chronicle and watching a lot of the lore quests on various sites, I am hopeful that Legion will be the quality of the expansions I've enjoyed most, and not the expansions I've felt dropped the ball (Cataclysm and WoD for very different reasons.)

My absolute top memory, however,  goes back to the days of Classic. My first Nefarian kill, everything going wrong. Tanks dying, healers dying to my mind control, and the night ending with me using a shadow protection potion and evasion to get the kill. Only killing Lei Shen and Ra-Den server first even comes close to the electricity of that first Nefarian kill.

Hail!

It seems like only yesterday I was in Camp Narache searching for Grull Hawkwind to strike back against the quilboar to avenge the Greatmother. I am now clad in full Conquest gear keeping my companions alive in battle. I look forward to climbing the ranks of prestigious battle in Legion. Earth Moher weaves the stands of fate and I for one look forward to seeing what She has in store for me.

May the eternal sun shine upon thee.

I can not wait for the new PVP Prestige system to come out. It will be so much more rewarding and fun with all the perks you can get. I remember playing on my Paladin, and carrying the flag back down to our Alliance base in Warsong Gulch . I was nearly dead and being chased by half the Horde team, but as I reached the alliance tunnel there was healers lined on either side healing me up, and our team finally came to my rescue.

Hm, I have to say I'm looking forward to the changes they're talking about with challenge mode dungeons, where they appear to be a completely viable alternate gearing method for smaller-group content. While they may have talked about Hearthstone as inspiration, it definitely sounds like they're taking some pages from Diablo 3's greater rifts. As a warlock main, I also have to say I am hoping the new Demonology is fun to play, as it certainly sounds pretty neat.

As to fondest memories of Warcraft-past, I loved leveling my warlock in Burning Crusade and seeing what demons at the forge camps I could and couldn't enslave. There were some pretty strong demons that made some questing rather easier, and it really reinforced the class fantasy that the developers are hoping to push with Legion.

Hello Dear Icy Veins and WoW Players!

I'm Zoltan. I started to play WoW in 2007.

My best memory is when my friend showed me the World of Warcraft.

When i tried a new world opened to me what i Love more then the real world.smile.png

The best things in wow for me are the beautiful places, the cool weapons and armor, the mood of a sunset fishing, fighting with the ugly and evil monsters (like my boss at the workplace).biggrin.png

Recently i was sad because of the inactive players who bored to play now.

I looking forward to the big player returns in Legion!

I know a lot of people like the Burning Crusade feeling. Now the legion will better.

I'm so excited and really looking forward to fighting as a Demon Hunter (and spam double jump), to acquire the artifacts for all of my character, to discover the new places and every new experience in the incoming patch.

Thank you if you read,

Best regards, Zoltan.

See you in EU-Ragnaros realm (Fluxurion, Spacelord, Spaceninja, Chijuice, Já, Stëämpunk, Kyloren)

I'm excited for the class revamps and derping around the new world seeing all the things and like everyone else weapon hype.

I enjoyed leveling experiences as well as seeing my first raid which was Icc:) from then on just went on to keep seeing new lore and how all the raids are. Then eventually fell in love with healing for raid and arenas.

Can't wait to check out all the new sounds and spell animations. Let's hope they bring new life into wow and make Legion the best expansion. Really hyped at the changes to the Arms warrior, hopefully that will be my main spec instead of Fury, although fury is look awesome too!

I am looking forward to playing the new Outlaw Rogue in Legion.  The pirate theme seems really fun with pistols, cannonballs, and a grappling hook!  Not to mention the new malee animations which look fantastic.  Casters always get new spells and updated animations and its cool to see malee get some love.

As for what I have loved in the past, I would have to say the raids.  I have played many MMO's but Blizzard has always made the best raids.  Karazhan Naxx, Ulduar, ICC just to name a few.  I have spent countless hours with friends and guildies over the years taking down the baddest dudes in WoW.

Very excited about artifact weapons. I'm a fan of the old talent trees so this brings us back to it in a way. Excited to play a demon hunter as well, they look very fun with their crazy mobility.

Also transmog wardrobe is gonna be a great addition and my void storage and bank will be grateful.

Better mythic dungeons/ challenge modes rewards etc is always great.

Overall looking very good as far as class flavour goes as well.

I'm a little worried about class/ spec balance though. Although its very early still i'm a bit worried that some classes will shine immensely in certain situations and others will be left in the dust. We will see.

Overall very excited.

Thank you for all your hard work.  I cannot wait to get started working my way through all the new content, it really feels like blizzard have gone back to their roots with this expansion. CM's, world exploration, alternative leveling, and some major baddies for us to fight in the coming raids, what is not to like. It would be wonderful to get into beta, I would love to be one of the lucky people able to provide feedback, fingers crossed!

Always like to play this Blizzard custom game through 8 years. Ever attend WoD beta raid test two years ago. In LEG, the new weapons' shape and tier 19 suits for priest and druid will be my interests. Cannot wait to play beta anymore.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
